You got to admit, there are some areas of WI that resemble the South.  I'm sorry, maybe not the larger towns, but I've been to some of the small towns, lol, it cracks me up.  I once went to this little town, can't recall the name, for a funeral, omg, it was like being in another world and time.  It was really funny.

I've spent my entire life all over Wisconsin. And even its most rural areas pale in comparison to southern Illinois - which let's not forget, has vast amounts of are which is further south than parts of Kentucky, and is only about 40 miles from the Arkansas border.

It s not as much the geological area that matters as it is the people that inhabit it and lets face it, Wisconsin is chock full of packerfans.

I have been to southern Illinois - more than once. I've driven through it to and from Memphis. I've also spent the night in Paducah - just across the Kentucky/Illinois border.
