Now there is a difference between Buffalo wings and just plain hot wings. Buffalo wings are deep fried before the sauce is applied as opposed to some places that bake the wings.
My vote for best Buffalo wings in the Chicago area would be Franks for the Memories in Mundelein.
Buffalo Wild Wings is okay, I like their variety of sauces. But they have skimpy little wings that pale in comparison to Franks' big, meaty wings. Plus the hot sauce at Franks beats the hot sauce at BWW, IMO.
I know both places use the original Buffalo wings recipe made famous by the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY.
Any other good places for wings?
