WindyCity36 I am familiar with the area--I have been there twice for some weddings.  It is a nice area down that way.

All of the other PA Bears fans it is good to hear from you guys.  We are a special few in PA that are surrounded by Steelers and Eagles all of the time.  Up here in Erie we have a majority Steeler fans, then come the Browns, then the Bills.

here's just a few.   Joe Namath, Johnny Unitas, Joe Montana, Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, right there is five of the greatest QBs to ever play in the NFL, our own beloved Mike Ditka ,Tony Dorsett, Fred Biletnikoff, Jim Thorpe,... kind of makes you think is there somthing in the water?

Philly bears fans loved it when Moose caught that touchdown in the 4th quarter.  The Link was oh so quiet

    Re: Pennsylvania Bears Fans

I was watching the game at a local bar when Moose did that--there were about 15 or 20 Eagles fans there talking smack the entire game.  Than all of sudden you could hear pin drop on there side of the bar.  I think that all Eagle and Steeler fans are related in some way.  Both teams have some of the worst fans I have ever seen.

B, we should all get together and go to the Bears/Browns preseason game in Cleveland, pretty sure it's the last Thursday in August.

Nice man--you should come up to Erie sometime to check out a game and hang with us sometime.  We should start a fan club in PA for DA BEARS.  Plan at least one trip a year to Chi-town to see a game as well.  We  can section it off into regions as well--anyone interested in doing something like this.  I am open for suggestions as well as to maybe getting together for a picnic sometime this summer with a bunch of other Bears fans in PA.  Let me know and maybe we can put something together.

    Re: Pennsylvania Bears Fans

I just moved to NW Philly from Chicago a few months ago.

Being away from home for football season is gonna be one of the things I hate most. I told my wife, when we first talked about moving out here a year and a half before it happend... that if we moved, the ONLY option for our TV service would be Direct TV so that I could get the Sunday Ticket and watch the Bears games.

Does anyone know if they show preseason games on Sunday Ticket? I don't wanna have to wait til September to see some action... seems so far away!
