So, who are we rooting for, Detroit or Anaheim?

I'm going with Detroit, because Anaheim murdered the Sharks, and are giving the Redwings are run for their money.

We have to advance first, it's not a done deal yet

That being said, I don't really care, it will be tough either way.

If we do advance and play Anaheim, we would have home ice but stupid away games wouldn't be until 9pm most likely(I really hate late games, although Vancouver was forced to play at 6pm their time)

Detroit would be good for travel reasons. No more traveling across the country every 6 days or so. Instead it'd be like an hour flight.

Truer words hath never been spoken.  If they do indeed advance, I think I would like to see them play Anaheim just because they would get home-ice advantage.  Deep down, though, I want to see a 'Hawks/Wings WCF because it will just be a freakin' blood bath.  I keep telling that to one of my professors here @ school because he's a big Wings fan.  I found it odd that he thought the 'Hawks have a better chance of beating Vancouver than the Wings do beating Anaheim.  Either way, I can't wait.  Here's to closing out Game 6 @ the UC...

Still good to hear they are doing well.

I'll probably just sound stupid here, but the stadium only seats about 20,000+ people, right? What exactly is included in that 1,000,000?

Seating capacity for hockey is 20,500 I think. They have to be counting standing room only and luxury suits as well

They average @ 22,000 a game so 41 games plus the playoff games, to get to one mil is pretty awesome considering that the team was bad for so long and in less than 2 years, they've really turned it around.
