Even though the Sooners are favored, I'm picking the Longhorns!!
The Longhorns have a better Pass Defense and I think Colt McCoy will pull it off!

OU BOOMER SOONER!!! Ever since '04, I've been a Sooner fan. I never watched College football, but when our Beloved started drafting Sooners, and my buddie from the Navy was as Diehard an OU fan as I was Bears fan, we both became fans of each other's teams.
I got OU on on Saturday now and he watches Bears games. Bear Down Boomer Sooner!!!
*And there's a Bears/OU bar in San Diego... can it get any better?!

IMO, the OSU-Michigan game is second to the Alabama-Auburn game. I grew up around the UA-AU game and, trust me, it's bitter. I have a friend whose dad covers Michigan for a Detroit paper and even his dad says that Alabama-Auburn is the biggest rivalry. He didn't believe it until he went to the game one year and saw it first hand. Also, people talk about it 365 days a year (which is kinda sad). You can walk into a bar in March and there's a good chance that someone will still be talking about the game (and there's a good chance that a fight will break out because of it). To me, that's the thing that separates that game from the others. The fans have to live around each other all year long. It's not like USC-ND where the fans are rarely going to see each other. College football in general is like a religion in Alabama (I've seen a Bear Bryant alter. Really). Anyway, there's obviously no way to prove something like this, but that's just my two cents.

130load:Speaking of fights breaking out. I live in Valdosta Ga. This city is football crazed like you just would not believe. One game other than the High school / city college games ...that cause a huge problem here is Florida/Ga. When those teams hook up....everything in this town except the sports bars closes down. That includes Walmarts, Gas stations etc. Kinda hard to do in a city of 100k + people but there are riots over this game here. Not to mention the city college team is the D2 National Champs...The high school teams are the state champs in their own divisions....and one of those teams will lose a game to the other every year. Awesome sports town!!!
