    Fire pits?

Anyone know if covered fire pits are OK in the Southwest lot?

yes but only unleaded gas is allowed to be used to start it and it must have an octane content of at least 93, and flames shall be no higher than 18 feet, roasting animals such as pigs, turkeys, dogs and kangaroos may only be done between the hours of 9am- 2pm. rain dance to douse fire must  be commence 2 hrs prior to the end of game. But the post game riots and the vehicle overturning ceremony rules haven't changed. which is great!

That's crap!  They must have changed that from last year!  Why can't they tell anyone?  It used to be you didn't have to do the rain dance until the 2 minute warning.

    *sigh*

I LOVE the fact that fire pits are OK, but canopies are not since they are considered "fire hazards".  The irony and stupidity.

What about the firepit rules in 31st?  Do they have to be covered?

31st Street is like Dodge City. Anything goes.  But technically, I would think the answer is yes, they need to be covered.  Enforcement on the other hand...

Dodge City.....Been going to 31st street for 5 years now, and I've heard it been likened to a number of things, but never Dodge City.  That's perfect.

I have a fire pit, and the only reason I cover it is out of curtousy for my fellow Dodge City citizens.

They need to put spell check on these message boards.

Compared to the Nazi like control of the Bears controlled lots, 31st Street is like Dodge City.  IMO, it is the BEST tailgating lot- cheapest and loose rules.  Only drawback is the distance to the stadium.
