I am a Die Hard Chicago Bears fan and always on the chicagobears.com and always reading the articles they have online. And I read the blogs of Larry Mayer and I can't stand most of his blog answers. I just get tired of reading his blog and how the Bears players or coaches are mostly never wrong.  He doesn’t criticizes the coaches for calling bad plays; I know he probably gets paid by the Bears but come on man. The questions the fans write in are valid points but he keeps saying how the Bears coaching staff isn’t being outcoach and how he would do the same plays the coaches are calling in.  Are you serious the Bears lost to the panthers and bucs by 3 and then against the Falcons by 2 those game were lost by the coaches when a team is up and are calling the same play over and over.  I know I'm not the only one who thinks this.  What do you guys think?

I'm totally up for this innovative tight end stuff. Eventually there should be a formation with just a center, a QB, and 9 tight ends. Who knows what the hell is coming from that formation.

We need to draft tight end with every draft pick next year. Screw the Dolphins wildcat nonsense. Next year will be the Bears' "Tight Ends Are Coming To Get Ya You Just Don't Know Which One" formation.

But, the crew on CSN that does the bear's post game show is much worse. They don't work for the bears but all you hear is excuses for the team underachieving. I can't stand Jim Miller because nothing is ever the qb's fault. At least Jerry Azumah says it how it is (sometimes).

That poor jayb sap is toast.  I've heard that after Larry "has his way" with posters like jayb, he has them prominently displayed on his office wall.  They say the quality of the taxidermy work is excellent & they almost look "life like"...

Unspeakable things happen to those who question Larry.  Maybe this should be mentioned to newbies in the forum FAQ.

In Sunday night’s game against the Vikings, all the Bears had to do was a kick a field goal instead of trying for a touchdown on fourth-and-goal from the 1 when they knew they couldn’t run it in. I think this was a huge coaching error. This would have put points on the board and kept the momentum on the Bears side. Another approach would have been to try some play-action. What are your thoughts?

because RT couldnt figure out that even as mediocre as st clair is, that he was facing a top 3 DE, and should have adjusted to put a TE there or have the back help/chip on way out of the backfield....but its their gameplan and by god no matter how bad we're getting it handed to us we refuse to adjust.
