gotta love that cocky third base ump... nothin like a guy who gets a revenge call and then taunts the bench...

if chokejobs was a word, they'd own it...

Yeah, these guys are big-time failures. The thing that really got me was NO ONE in the lineup decided to take the role as the heavy hitter when Los Quentin went down.

The Twins deserve it. When they play as soundly as they do--and can even overcome huge run-scoring errors--you can't help but admire the team.

That's the Twins for you. A couple of marquee players, and a bunch of farm system talents they've groomed (and which they'll trade later down the line for more young talent). They know what they're doing when it comes to the farm. IMO, they rank up near the top, along with the Dodgers and Atlanta.

    Dumb Sox.

Here's the Royals GIVING you the opportunity to take control of the whole situation, but once again the Sox fail to uphold their end of the bargain. They get the offense one day, but bad pitching. Then the next game they get the pitching but no offense. Make up your damn minds.

Sox can't keep relying on other teams to beat the Twins.  We gotta start winning now.  Sox can still win the next four and advance.  We're at home and its the Indians.  At least we won't have to face Cliff Lee on Sunday.

Proof that the Sox did do a chokejob.  Royals have no pressure so they just go about the business of trying to win games.  Sox were spooked by the dome and the Twinks breathing down their necks so act like the bedwetters they are.

Now they go home and do the same thing.  How can we even compete with pitching like this at this point of the season?

Navy say's, "good luck".  I say we need plenty of it because talent and guts has apparently run out.

So far, the makeups still under delay.

And, I'm seeing this right? The Sox are going up against Freddie Garcia?

the twinkies are cheap with the payroll and thier post season performance backs that up

Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen, right, celebrates with Alexei Ramirez after Ramirez's grand slam during the sixth inning against the Detroit Tigers.

I look at the Twins as the AL's Braves: always in contention, but never the favorites in the postseason. Both show they can hang for the entire season with the rest of the competition, but never really pull away in the post--i.e., they don't get much World Series hardware.

I just got back from class, and to take a line from Harry Carey -- Holy Cow! What an ending!

But now on to a tougher task: the Rays in Tampa. Give 'em hell or go at least go down swingin'.

i'm just hoping Dewayne Wise is relegated back to pinch running duties cause his bat sucks.  We need a stronger bat at no.2 in the lineup going against the Rays.

They probably won't go with AJ since he started to really stink it up there in the latter part of the season. If it were my guess, Wise goes to the bench, and Ramirez gets bumped up to the 2 slot.
