    lol prolly Texas
If I was smart, I'd be a Bears fan
if I was intelligent I'd be a Bears fan
If I was stupid I'd be a Bears fan
This makes no sense whatsoever but I still got my point across.

and if Bama's new QB plays well maybe they have a chance to come in and take Florida spot they just lost an aqful lot on their O-Line but the defense is reall good and there Sophmore Rb Clint Ingram was better than Glen Coffee they also left Arenas Really good returner

I got to go with Tebow (Flordia); guy is just a freak athlete. I will say they will take on OSU because the Big Ten will be weak.

    Miami and Yale.

LOL.  There's just two problems with that scenario:

    1) Yale is an FCS school.

    2) Ivy League schools don't participate in postseason play of ANY kind in football.

Also, did you mean Miami (Florida) or Miami (Ohio)?

Don't laugh, Notre Dame has a legitimate shot to be in a BCS bowl and maybe even sneak into the National Championship game.  I don't think ND is the best team in the country, but they have a very favorable schedule and if they end their season with 0-1 losses AND a win over USC, the voters are going to vote them in.

Right now, the National Championship game will likely be Florida vs. Texas/Oklahoma winner

I don't think USC or Ohio State will be in the discussion regardless of who wins that game.

Don't sleep on the U this year. They are very young and hungry and if they all that youth and talent can meet in the middle they will be tough. I will go out on a limb and say they upset OU this year down in Miami. I will eat all the crow if they lose:)

Florida and Texas.  Living in Austin that's all we hear.  McCoy coming back makes a world of difference for the Longhorns.  Wish I could say my Hawkeyes will be there but..............  They'll be good just not BCS championship good.

    wish: USC(alma matter) vs Illinois
that wont happen bc USC is prolly gona lose to some crappy Pac-10 team like stanford, and Illinois is not even the favorite in a weak Big 10 conference

more likely: some SEC team(Alabama) vs Ohio State(no competition in the Big 10)

College ball can be anyone game, that what I like about it of course I have to say Ohio State being an alumni and of course we have Terrell Pryor as QB, although sadly lost Laurantius and Beanie Wells etc etc.

I don't know for the most part there aren't hug upsets in college football i mean there was the Appalachian ST. vs. Michigan or the Ole Miss vs. Florida game but for the most part there aren't many upsets I am going to take Florida and OU Florida wins 35-28

Re: 2009 BCS championship. Who will be in it

I'm not going to say it...... but...... ND has the easiest schedule it has EVER had, they are the favorite in all games but one right now and USC will be WAY down and has to visit South Bend this year.  They have the best receiver corp in the country by far and Clausen is rated the #4 QB.

I'll say if ND beats USC they will be in the title game.  Where I believe they will lose to Florida or Texas in a rout.

It's not Notre Dame's fault their schedule is easy this season.

I believe Nevada, Michigan St, USC, BC, UConn, Pitt, Navy all went to a bowl game last year and Michigan and Purdue usually aren't this down.

Playing Washington and Washington St won't help because they stink, but those are both Pac-10 teams.  At least ND isn't scheduling I-AA teams like the SEC schools.  They couldn't have forecasted that the schedule would fall like this a few years ago when they were putting it together.

I didn't say it's their fault.  If ANYONE deserves a break it's ND.  They have had the #1 most difficult schedule over the last 20 years, hands down.  They used to be able to count on wins against Navy and Army but that's not an option any longer.

The Big East 3, Pitt, BC and UConn all took huge hits to graduation and injury this year.  Pitt looks to be the 2nd toughest game after the USC game.  But, Pitt last their 3 top RB's last year and McCoy was obviously the star of the team.  They have great OL's and DL's but they can't outscore ND this year and as Bear fans we know what it's like trying to win with Wanny.

You have to look to the USC game as the tell all for ND this year.  Pitt on the road will be interesting and the road game at Stanford will be no cakewalk either, especially with Toby Gerhart back, the big RB who ran over ND last year like Mike Alstott playing against Pop Warner kids.

I'm not going to mention Michigan and MSU.... they've got payback coming this year.

I can't wait till fall....ND Saturdays, Bears Sundays and the White Sox in October.....
