    Re: place to stay..........

I hope to be abe to get game tickets and come to Chicago as well for the two Novemeber home games, plan just to use expedia, lastminute.com etc etc to see if i can find a deal

on a shamless slef plugging note if you have facebook

follow this link a small group at present but the moe members we get the more we can talk bars in london to show the bears games.

As for location not sure but some of the L train lines run 24/7 so as long you stay near them getting around is fairly easy.

You should check out the accommodations at the world famous Cabrini Green.  It's conveniently located near downtown and Soldier Field.

this place is old but cheap, or at least was, when I stayed there in 2006.

It's easy to get to the Red line from there too, which will take you to Roosevelt Road, and you can walk from there to the stadium:

Just got back from london myself (stayed near the gloucester road station). Great place!

    Re: place to stay..........

i stayed there once years ago while the circus was in town, there was an animal trainer in room next to me, he kinda reminded me of Marlin Perkins ya know the guy from Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, i don't know what the heck was going on in that room that night, but there was alot of screeching and screaming and banging going on all night long, the next morning when i checked out the police were there with animal control, they were there to remove several dead monkeys that were all dressed in lingerie from Victoria's Secret.
