Staying 5 nights in Chicago... Bears, Cubs, White Sox

We are coming down in an RV in September to see the Bears, Cubs, White Sox.  What motels/hotels would you guys recommend for around $100/night.  We just need somewhere to sleep and shower that is in a safe neighbourhood and preferebly somewhat close to the stadiums.  Would something around the airport be our best bet?  Any suggestions where a good place to stay would be???

Hotels by O'Hare and by Midway can be found for $100.  Embassy Suites by O'Hare is good deal.  Free breakfast and two hour free drinks, usually around $100.

You're not going to find a hotel too close to Wrigley, you probably can't stay for $100 too close to Soldier Field, and you probably don't want to stay too close to US Cellular, so O'Hare isn't a bad option. You can take the EL in from there, and hope on either another El or bus to all of the parks.

You have an RV - why not stay in there?

If you need a room, I would recommend as the others something near Ohare as you can take public transportation to all the three venues.  Go to Hotels.com for some places that meet your budget.

Well there is 7 of us staying in an RV for 10 days.  We will need somewhere to shower, so it is just easier getting a hotel for some nights to get a good nights rest and shower.

If its just to "freshen up"  might consider going to a health club - perhaps Bally's if you have a membership to take your showers for free.  I've done this many times when I travel on a red eye flight to another city for business and just find the local Ballys to work out, steam and shower prior.

and then you can participate in the after shower circle jerk, where if your lucky ya might end up being the pivot boy
