Buyin tickets. Is there a bad seat in the house?

I am on the verge of buying tickets to my 1st Bears home game and I was needing to know before I purchased some if there are any bad seats in the stadium. Too Far away or too high up? I bought club seats to the Bears-Rams game to witness the St.Louis Slaughter last season & realized that if you have upperdeck endzone seats in that stadium the experience wouldn't be all that great...If you don't mind drop me an opinion or two I would really appreciate your help Bears fans...... Not really. We got probably the best sight lines in the NFL and The Jumbo Monitors will take care of the rest. Only thing that was bad is bathrooms. But if your taking a kid you can use the family restrooms. much faster.

I just got tickets for my 1st Bears game too and they are in the nose bleed seats (section 440). I asked around to a lot of people about sitting up that high and even searched around the internet on google trying to find pictures that people took from seats in that area. From everything I could tell and comments from others - there are no bad seats at the stadium. Even the seats up high you feel like you are a lot closer to the action - reminds me of my local stadium in NY (carrier dome) where every seat is a great seat and the cheaper seats you actually look down on the action a little better like watching it on t.v.

Just be prepared for the walk up. It's like climbing a mountain. You better be in decent shape or your gonna be stopping half way up. But once your up there the sight lines are great. Just don't make to many trips down. The first year it opened I had seats in the 5th to last row. 160 steps down to the concession area. That was the last year i sat up there. So good luck.

agreed.  its a long walk up those 400 level seats.  GREAT view though.  ive sat on the 50 yard line up there and it was a great way to take in the action.  and i sit 8 rows off the field normally.  the best seats in the house are the media deck.  wonderful view, little different crowd up there though.

The only bad seat is outside.  What an ugly stadium.

Once you get inside, it's phenomenal, everywhere.  Obviously it's fun to sit close, but I actually like sitting up high because you can take in more of the action that way.

No matter what it's a great experience.

Never been to Soldier before so I couldn't comment on the seating there, but I will say from experience, that if you do sit in the upper levels, it's not as bad as some may think.  I've been to the top of the old RCA dome a couple of times along w/ my uncle who is handicapped, so our seats were right beside the press box. The cool thing about sitting up top is that you can see the plays develop and unfold. It's pretty sweet watching the receivers run their routes and whatnot. You'll be able to see a fly pattern open up long before most people would.

Re: Buyin tickets. Is there a bad seat in the house?

Until this season I would watch the first half from the walkway behind the 100 level on the bears sideline. I would follow the ball and it was great. This year the Park District has no allowed this acticity!! Jerks. anyway I now sit in the second row in 435. Very nice, I'm on the 35 yard line south side. Reall not a bad seat in the house. Good luck.
