    Watch Bears in South Florida?

I live in between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale... Anyone know the best place to watch the Bears? I heard about Capone's in Hollywood, but I haven't been there yet... Are there any others?

    Thanks

Hi! Glad to help you out!

Go to Fat Lou's: Off of Hallandale Beach Blvd & 95.:) It's ALLLLL Chicago stuff (food, decor, etc).

    www.fatlous.com

I've lived in FL for 5 yrs- and there's a crowd of regulars that goes there for every big game (Cubs. Bears, Bulls, etc)- I would be there tomorrow, but I'm actually working up in Chicago until Jan. My boyfriend (Corey) will be there though- just look for the people sitting right in front of the big TV in the back. Lou, the owner is an awesome guy and my friends there are a great group. Hope you can make it & Have fun!!! - Jessica:)

Re: Watch Bears in South Florida?

:) No prob- I happened to be logged on right after you made the post & I'm always glad to refer new fans to Lou's to join us on Sundays... it's been my Bears spot for 3-4 years (except for the times we've flown up to catch a game at Soldier Field).

About Cheetah- as for the one right across the way- I believe it's no longer open (coule have re-opened recently though- not sure) Lol.

Have fun watching the Bears/Steelers there (and the Bears beatdown of GB tonight)- Hopefully I'll make it there myself for a game or two to while visiting the bf/ friends.

Dang... I'll have to come down sometime.  I'm in Ft. Myers/Cape Coral area.  Being a Realtor I'm sure you know how crazy things are here.  : (

That brings up a point.  The laws are the same throughout Florida; if any of you are in danger of losing your house or want some buying information... Please let me know.  I won't be able to "represent" you... Any Realtor who tries to "long-distance" advise on specific property acquisition, is doing thier client(s) a grave injustice.  I will answer any questions you have and try to assist you as best as I can.

Wow, didn't mean to go into that on game day... lol - my email is dean.neven@gmail.com or www.sellingparadiserealty.com

All be blessed and enjoy the game tonight... GO BEARS!!!

Re: Watch Bears in South Florida?

    Jessica,

I didn't go to Fat Lou's for the Steelers because that game was also nationally televised.

I Think I am going today vs. Seattle, but do you know if they televise every Bears game, which would mean that they need the direct tv Sunday ticket, or do they just show the nationally televised games?

I called last night to ask, but the girl who answered didn't know, and told me to call today after 11:00 to speak to Lou... I figured there was an off chance you would catch this post this morning...

    THANKS!

    Ron

Re: Watch Bears in South Florida?

There is a bar in Hollywood called Capone's Flicker-Lite Pizza, they serve up Bears games every week and serve Chicago style pizza... Check out their website www.caponesflickerlite.com - I think thats it :)

Re: Watch Bears in South Florida?

Chaz, I didn't end up going to Fat Lou's for the Seahawks game because I called them to make sure they were showing the game, and the girl told me that the direct tv wasn't working but they would have it fixed in time. I didn't want to chance it, so I went to All-Stars off State Rd 84...

We have a bi-week this week, and the Falcons game is televised because it is the Sunday night game. Then they just moved the Bengals game the following week up to the 4:00 time slot so that it too can be televised...

With all that being said, I will be at Fat Lou's for the next game that isn't nationally televised...

    Thanks,

    Ron

Does anyone know of a place in the Boynton area for the Bears?  If not, I can head up to WPB, but just thought I would check.  Thanks!

if you want to watch a bears game the palm beach ale house is by far the best.the outside bar is the bears section,if your not familiar with the area coming from boynton 95 north to palm beach lakes blvd ,go west about 1 1/2 miles on the right cannot miss it.when i lived in palm beach that was the place.
