no worries mate, I've done that in the past.....TA Sports are ok, got my Grossman from them and he threw in a Bears mouse mat.
Brum Bear: mancunian: Aye, I got my Urlacher one from them as well. They are in the process of closing down though, though I heard they may go to web only. http://www.greatamericansports.co.uk/ Yeah you're right - just looked and they closed in May this year. poo Haven't managed to find a shirt with Forte on yet - Hester/ Urlacher/ Grossman are the main ones

Cornish Bear: mancunian: Cornish Bear: mancunian:will do mate, I wont be able to make it though. Wife's 30th just the Friday before the game - so I guess there'll be something planned by her family around that time....... Sorry to hear that you can't make the game. It is a milestone for her so I can understand why you're making the "sacrifice". Hopefully she'll remember what you gave up for her when it's the Bears turn to make the regular season trip to the UK. its my 40th next March.....I wonder what I'd like to do? a trip to Chicago in September....maybe taking in Soldier field and a game (against anyone I'm not fussy!)....ummm that sounds like a good idea Get it booked asap! You won't regret it. Biggest headache will be getting the game tickets, but it will be worth every penny/cent. We made the trip on our honeymoon back in 2006 and we'll be doing it all again for my 40th in a few years. Don't want to wish my life away but I can't wait. These NFL International Series games at Wembley are just to keep my addiction topped up, until the next time I can get my fix of the Bears. Good luck with organising it!

cheers mate, just have to judge the moment right to suggest it....I'd probably book through one of the sports travel tour operators, but I'd go for a week and take the mrs shopping. We spent the honeymoon in Florida.....and we're there next year ..umm lets see a Bears pre -season game in Tampa - that would be cool. Who can I request that from.....

It has Urlacher jerseys or access it from the nfl uk website.Secondly I have setup facebook and myspace group for bears fans in the UK. I don't wish to take away from other websites for Bears fans in the UK, this is for all Bears fans but also ones in London if we can get together in a big enough group i may be able to persuade bars to show the Bears games in preference to other games. Anyway the links are as follows http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/group.php?gid=11432134171 (facebook)http://groups.myspace.com/dabearslondon (mysapce)As I say dont want to take away from any other site but these seem like a good way to be able to organize trips to watch games. Not being very technically minded this seemed the easiest way to do it.

WallyChambers: What's the thread about Wembly??? Bear's fans at the Saint's Charger's game?? Did I miss something? Although I live in London I am very opposed to overseas games. Imagine Chelsea/ Man U played in Florida! or Russia, oh wait that's different.

Hey guys. Does anyone know exactly how many games are being shown on skysports this year, and what they are? That includes the interactive games.
Thanks

I dont think Sky have finalised the schedule - I'd need to check. Are you talking Bears games or all games.
Bears fan for 20+ years living in London. Alas this year I may only have access to Five's programmes.
slyrhy12: Hi any more fans other than me in England write back if you are thanks. Go Bears

Go Bears
There are SO many Bears fans in England that they are going to add bangers and mash to the concessions at Soldier Field next year.
shalashaska28:The whole schedule would be nice, but the Bears games I really wanna know about.
there's nothing on the Sky Sports website, looks like they haven't decided.

That's a bugger mate, I feel for you. WBBM streamed some of the games last year so you may get some commentary.

fantsatic, lets hope they add Boddingtons Bitter as well......dont mean to be pedantic though but there's actually a load of British fans - Scots, Welsh and Northern Irish can be a little fiesty if you call them English.

I wish that were possible. I love Boddington's. I even cut the ball out of the can once in a while to get a look at it. But Miller has exclusive beer rights to the Bears. The best we can get at a game is Leinenkugel- and that is only at a stand. the vendors that walk the rows only sell MGD and Lite.
mancunian:I drink MGD here sometimes, its ok. Prefer it to Bud.
I prefer warm dog urine to Bud.
