I just looked at the interactive map. How do you get to the stadium from there? Looks like its' a long ways from the game. And is the lot secure? I got flat screen Tv's and other sheeite that I'm kind of fond of. LOL

I'm sure there are cops and security around.  But it is Atlanta...  You know... Where the playas play!  lol

I'm not sure if the "Gulch" is where I used to park for arena football or not.  It's like a 5-10 minute walk.

doesn't seem far at all, we will prob. get there between 7:00- 7:15 to set up..and get the grills warmed up : )

I am also a transplant from the Chi and plan on being at the game.  I just ordered two cases of OLD STYLE and will hopefully have some Vienna goodies as well.  I look forward to meeting everyone.

look for the 40 foot bears plag pole with a 2006 NFC Champsionshp banner and bears helmet banner , red dodge nitro in teh gulch "A" parking lot

I'll be there by 9am.... Bright and early to get a good spot and fire up the grill.

look for the 40 ft bears flagpole flying a 2006 NFC champsionship flag and a bears helmet flag and that will be us.

We've never been to a Bears away tailgate experience. What can we expect? Any suggestions for a newbie? We live in Atlanta. Thanks!

What part exactly is everyone tailgaiting in?  I'll be coming from the Marta stationg so I'll be walking...I know Lot A or B, but what part?  Anyone going to designate a corner of say "on the Lot K side of Lot A?"  What will distinguish this tailgate from any others so I don't just come up to some random Bear fans who aren't expecting anyone else?

I'll be there in the same white jersey you see in my avatar.  You can't miss a 6'3", 245 pound redheaded Irish guy, can you?  I'm pretty sure I'll be the only #56 there.

Patrick (dbears54) has a 40' flagpole.  It should be pretty easy to find us.  I joined them in Charlotte, and we had at least 100-150 Bears fans there.  Was a great time!

Hope to get there a little earlier then at the Carolina game. Kian will be with me again, along with a friend of mine that lives in Atlanta and maybe my girlfriend (she might have to work Sat and miss the trip).

On that note.. I MIGHT have a single extra ticket available sitting with my group in section 108, row 31 (lower level corner endzone.. if I am not mistaken, I think it is the corner that the Bears tunnel is in.. its either 108 or 128). If it becomes available for sure and anyone is interested, shoot me a PM. Face value is $99, Im not looking to make any money off it.. unless a Falcons fan wants it.. lol.

For those of you are regulars at this I have a question (this is my first tailgating event).  For those of us who are just bringing ourselves (no grill, etc.) do other tailgaters sell any food (burgers, etc.)?  If not Lorrie (my wife) and I can bring something with us.

check out craigslist. me and my dad got ours there. we are 14 rows off the field behind the bears bench. 95 face value, we paid 125. i know the guy we bought ours off of had 2 extras.
