For all that are interested, I looked it up.  Weakness last visit was 9/15, 5 days after the Bears shut out a certain team in Lambeau.  He did not post.  Can anybody guess why?

What? No response from the proud Packer fans out there?  Too busy criticizing the Bears losing three quarters of a game Monday night?  One more chance, is this the week the Kitties pass the mighty Packers?   Will Joey Ballgame finally actually help the Lions by leading the mighty Phins to victory?  Come out from under your rocks unipacker, weakone, packer56.  IHTB once again too busy with his blog?   How about our new troll Favra who was talking smack for 6 or 7 posts then disappears.

This year, looking like bears will face a CLASSIC ONE AND DONE situation, will they pass the test?

wardi told me they won't, and once again, he doesn't even know if it will be Philly, New Orleans, Seattle, or some other team that will come in and do a better job than the Cardinals on the Bears.

Still talking to yourself and referring to yourself in the third person?  Wardi, you need help!

How can the Bears be one and done, when they will not even make the playoffs?  According to your genius predictions, which are never wrong, the Bears are 0 and 6 right now.  Has a team ever recovered from starting a season with six losses, to make the playoffs!

By the way, good luck to your Packers in the playoffs!  They are going 13 and 3, right Wardi?

    Dear Ron Turner:

We have our franchise QB now. Please don't screw this season up. We are counting on you.

    Sincerely,

Wardi, you sure get a kick out of talking to yourself don't ya??....your predictions have been WRONG all season.....get over yourself...the standings say it all and your team STILL SUCKS and will for YEARS to come...past seasons do NOT indicate present performance Mr. Cleo....Cheers....go back to your outhouse and practice origami, maybe you can make a Favre doll out of toilet paper, it sure would make better use of your time because you SUCK in the prediction buisness....

Let me help you count.  There are 5 questions above, only 1 is about your so-called kitties, since the second one in red actually refers to the Dolphins Packers came, so even if I grant you a 2nd, it is still only 2 of 5 questions.

I'm not going to provide genius for eveything in your quizzical mind, so I provided the Only appropriate response that you needed.

And that is, bears are facing a CLASSIC ONE AND DONE all over again.  The standings only matter to determine which team gets to go into Soldier Field and end the bears season AGAIN.

Then, you can post the 2006 standings for the next 6 months, while all the bears players get one year closer to retirement, and that's it.  NO CHAMPIONSHIPS for you.

Re: weakone- new Standings thread just for you

I'm here Wisc. What would you like to know? I don't think I've ever ventured into this thread until now.

Those standings are looking better. The Packers might actually win six games this season, as opposed to the four from last year. Baby steps.

How about some interesting facts on this season.

The 49'ers have the worst defense in the NFL, having given up more than 32 points per game. Yet despite that, they have somehow managed to win two games.

Rex Grossman's QB rating dropped a record-setting 19 points after his last game.

The Broncos have the 31st ranked offense in the NFL. Yet they're 5-1. Why? Because their #1 ranked defense is only giving up a ridiculous seven points per game.

Despite having a rookie-filled offensive line, only Drew Brees, Rex Grossman and Peyton Manning have been sacked fewer times than Brett Favre. (Have to point out whatever positives I can)

Out of the NFL's top 31 receivers (in terms of yardage) only two have yet to score a touchdown. Both of them are members of the Miami Dolphins.

Re: weakone- new Standings thread just for you

I stand corrected Wisc. In an effort to answer your questions, I went back through this thread, and found that I had been here before. But as to your questions, I only found one. It had something to do with "Joey Ballgame" helping out his old team by beating the hapless Packers.

I have said it for years. Joey Harrington stinks. Year after year I stated that the Lions would never go anywhere with Harrington at the helm. Yet your old pal Plank used to defend him and say that he hadn't played enough yet to fully judge his potential. Bah! He's a capable backup - no more, no less.

The answer is no. Going into the game, I thought the Packers had a fair chance to win. The Dolphins aren't very good. Although their defense is somehow ranked 6th. Joey Ballgame was his typical self - stinky.

Listen to this nutcase dissin Grossman..The same Grossaman that destroyed the Pukers in week 1

Re: weakone- new Standings thread just for you

Note to wart and IHTB... it would actually mean something if you commented on the games I questioned BEFORE they play.

IHTB, I guess you need to take shots at Grossman when you can.  Regardless, if you remember I told you an 80+ QB rating is all he needs to win with this team.... and winning he/they are.  Not so much winning EVERY game because of the defense.  That is what Grossman brings to the table.  Being critical of one game is pretty weak but hey I guess you need to find something.  Go to town.

Record-setting?  Please provide me a link of this record-setting achievement.

Wins are all that matters Wisc. Save for that one game, Grossman has looked every bit the real deal.

I'm not on as often as I used to be. If you want me to comment on something, point it out - or IM me with a link to the thread. I'll respond.

I never called the Packers "hapless"

Funny how you criticize Plank for saying "he (Harrington) hadn't played enough yet to fully judge his potential" yet you were so critical of Grossman early on because he had not shown you anything.  Isn't that basically saying the same thing?

Yep, I heard a quote somewhere last week that indicated it was the biggest one-game drop for a quarterback at this point into the season. It seemed a bit far-fetched to me. But a 19-point drop is conceivable. I'll try and find a link.

Not quite. The difference is that Harrington had a couple of full seasons under his belt. Grossman had seven starts.

No, you never called them hapless. I did. I'm sure you won't disagree with me though.

Sounds like somebody grasping to take a shot at Grossman.  "At this point into the season"?  "The" season is only 6 or 7 weeks old depending on your by week.  Sounds like you are jumping on this like you did the over-rated Urlacher story.
