We had a GREAT turnout ant Bruno's today.  I'd guess 40 people and they were LOUD.  From here at the board we had Urlacher1285, Uncle Zeek and his wife, Jan 26, 1986 and here husband, AceRockCola and his dad, and 8 others who saw us on the web.  They will all agree that it was off the hook.  I even met 4 others in Pam's group from Saturday's ND Goldies group that showed up for a little
GB destruction.

Can't wait to see you for the Kitty Klown game next week.

Well, I got lied to. Never let a female server tell you what games are on at any bar, always ask for the manager. But it did not matter, I forgot you can barely hear the volume at Goldies anyway, unless you are upstairs.

ANYWHOO... There was a great turnout at Goldies, it was hard to count, but the bar was extremely loud whenever the Bears made a good play, needless to say, Bears fans own that bar too. There had to be at least 40+ cheering fans there too.

We had to fight with them over the ND game last Saturday.  And Uof A and ASU weren't on at the same time.

I may be at Goldie's next Sunday because of an open house we are having.  No volume would be a drag.  We had it cranked on 100 on 2 big screens Sunday.

 That's as much fun as I've had watching a Bears game since I moved out here in 2000.  Didn't hurt that we smoked the Cheeseholes by six scores too!

We didn't have alot of our regulars there last week but our internet crew was at least 15.  There were 9 people who learned about Bruno's from this board or DaBearz.com who don't post, only read.

Of course im a die hard bears fan, why else would i be driving all the way out to fountain hills to watch a football game. Im tired of the business class bear fans. I wanna drink beer and get rowdy!!! and no i don't take any medication at all.

Yes i do look like im in 9th grade, but i don't care if maggie thinks its fake. I get it alot worse when i try to hit up the nice clubs in scottsdale like barcelona or suede. Thats where all the high class ladies go. Who knows, there might be a desperate housewive looking for a guy that looks as young as her son.

i have been to all local places for games: zip's, cocomo joes, goldies, yardhouse......NONE of these though have not ONE bears fan other than myself....

Here's what we know.

Bruno's Sports Grille in Fountain Hills.

Had the game on 2 big screens and was the only game with volume.
We had 30- 35 people and it was rowdy!  But what do you expect when we beat the Pack 26-0.
There were 5 members of this website there and some others that read about it here in attendence.


Goldie's - Scottsdale

Per DrueDown:  Had upwards of 40 people there but the game was not on the center screen, therefore there was no volume.  I stopped there last night, [I lived down the street on Via Linda]  and asked Murph if the game was gonna be on the volume Sunday.  He did not know.  He did tell me that the ND vs. Michigan was a lock for  Saturday however.  If the Cards are playing at the same time, they will be on.

Famous Sam's - Glendale

I know that they watch the game and have volume BUT it's a weird crowd.  There are some older guys that don't like to be rowdy and some young guys that are pretty suspect.  Urlacher1285 and I went there for the Browns preseason game and I think we both came away unimpresed.

Cub's Park - 40th and Bell rd.

It's a hot dog joint with a 15ft. bar in it.  I eat there a couple of times a month, I like Walt's joint.  There are no big screens and I still have yet to find a person who has been there on Sunday.  Love to hear a report if ya go.

Santisi Bros. - Bell and I-17

I think it's the best sports bar in town but it will be loaded with all kinds of fans.  I've never gone on Sunday, I have been there on a Saturday for football and for the MLB playoffs.  Plus if you are a Sox fan, Dustin Hermanson is one of the owners.

The safe bet to be at a bar surrounded by Bear fans , where you will be guaranteed to hear the game and get beers for $2 is Bruno's.
