One thing we all hated is that they had chicken wings for a quarter there. The game will start at 10am but the lunch menu can't be served till 12:30pm. So thats unacceptable. You can't have beer and pancakes.

We pay the owners rent for the month in 3 hours and he has to have the breakfast menu while we are playing.

 

 

That won't bother me to much.  I am a Bloody Mary and egg sandwhich kind of guy.  That is what I have had at Payton's Place the last couple of years on Sundays and I will continue the tradition at Bruno's. If they have egg sandwhiches that is.

i just moved into tempe about a month ago. where is this "bruno's" place at? i'm all for gettin together with some other fans, but i don't even know my way around tempe yet (i still haven't been into phoenix other than for warped tour). i'll be out of town for the game this weekend, but what about the 20th? where's everyone going and what time is everyone getting together?

- "Bleacher Bum's":  who's going to the Cubs/D-backs game Aug. 24,25,26th?  Some of us have tickets already and are going either Friday or Sunday, and sitting in (what else) the "Bleacher Section" (139-145).  So I think Friday would be a good day for all who are going, to meet up prior to game.  So get your tickets for Friday Aug. 24th Bleacher Section (139-145). I am not going to week 1. I am busy with school and it will be very expensive for me to go. I told my ticket for 3x the face value on ebay. Besides the seat sucked anyways.

 

I have told a few co-workers and others on the board how cool brunos is. Some cats are whining that it is too far, but if Chef can drive from Anthem, then everyone should come by. Heck I drive from east mesa to grab grant and off to brunos. I really am looking forward to a bigger turn out, because I am the bar mascot. Maggie should get off my case hopefully this year about swearing I think.
