I got to see the second and third periods. Nice to see the Hawks step up up and not take crap from the Canucks. Like I expected when they got too far behind they started to goon it up, but the Hawks would have none of it.

The 10 minutes for Buff was a joke, he hit the guy clean and got jumped. I understand why they did it though to try and restore some order.

Now take 2 at home and put them away in Vancouver.

Canucks are dealing with injuries now. Their best D-man Salo did not make the trip to Chicago after hurting himself in Game 2.

Forward Johnson had x-rays on his finger after blocking 2 shots with his hand(he broke a finger on the same hand around Christmas and will need surgery)

Forward Demitra did not practice with the Canucks today and has an upper body injury(most likely a shoulder injury.)

On the Hawks Toews ice time has been down and the question is whether he's sick or injured. Various reports say nagging shoulder injury, others say flu. Coach Q said he had "an upper body flu" recently but has been feeling better lately.
