Bearhunter you $uck. We'll see who gets to do the talking at the end of the season...

Who cares about the Chargers on this MB. Boy, you are indeed an angry bear. I could give a rip what you think about my comments and opinions, just keep your personal attacks out of the equation and place nice or you'll be modded.

Easy beargods3454. If its just simulation why are you so angry? So what me and others on this message board are having a little "simulation fun" during the off-season to help pass the time? Get a life and quit the personal attacks dude. Relax, its just football and your taking things way to personally.

Since when is the season decided before the games are played?
Ever hear of injuries etc?
A certain team, from a certain town that begins with a C, and ends with an O, and has HICAG in the middle!

So technically you're predicting us to have the same record as San Diego did last season?

No dreaming here, bearhunter. You've been getting burned in every debate here.
Let's go back to the last game of last season. Division title on the line, Chargers against Broncos.
Final score, Chargers 52 Broncos 21
I'm going to go way out on a limb here, and say the Broncos problem was not Cutler. It was their defense.
What do you think?

What does any of that have to do with the topic of this thread, which is "Vikings to take the NFC North by Storm, all others suck"? Who really gives a rip about the Chargers team beating up on the crappy Broncos team last year. My opinion is that the 8-8 crappy chargers team got decimated in the divisional round anyways and clearly were going nowhere with that crappy defense of theirs and were pretty lucky the Colts didn't win that game. Look, every team has got their problems, injuries, age, etc. etc. But for that Cutler dude to have one of the best O lines in front of him plus decent rush support (rank #17 in yards last year) and losing to a bunch of crappy teams last year do you really think he deserved going to the playoffs, let alone the pro bowl just for all those yards he put up between the 20's, let alone the previledge Face the facts, Cutler has a lot more to prove than just yards in this league. Look at John Kitna. LMAO....Mr. "Yards King"....and where is he now?

OOOOOOOHH! Fantasy Football! Fitting for a Vi-Queen fan. Fantasyland. Here's what happens according to the guys who play with REAL money. SB odds. Not Internet bucks. You were the OP of this thread. You found a site that says the Vikings will win the North and the Bears have no chance. You created a thread about that to provoke Bear fans. Again, I have no idea why a Chargers fan would do that. The Bears and Chargers are not in the same conference, in case you were not aware. Have you seen Peter King's projection for the league? In his preseason power rankings, he has the Bears 4th in the entire league. His main reason for doing this, is because we picked up Cutler. Apparently, he thinks Cutler is a hell of a QB. So, bearhunter, what do you know about Cutler that Peter King does not know? Please keep in mind, that Peter King is paid a very handsome salary to write about the NFL. Where did he go wrong in evaluating Cutler? The professional football writers have been in strong agreement that Cutler is a huge upgrade for the Bears. Why are they wrong? By the way, in one post you used the word bursted, and in this one you used the word previledge. Maybe you should have studied English instead of economics at Mythical University.

Wow bearsfanmike. You sure got a lot of hate up your crotch towards Bearhunters. Anway, Peter King, your resting your laurals on PK? LMAO, I don't give a rip what the guy gets paid. Lets see what his NFL wild card weekend predictions were last year: PK's prediction: Atlanta 33, Arizona 17 Result: Arizona 30, Atlanta 24 PK's prediction: Indianapolis 29, San Diego 23 Result: San Diego 23, Indianapolis 17 PK's prediction: Baltimore 16, Miami 6 Result: Baltimore 27, Miami 9 PK's prediction: Philadelphia 20, Minnesota 13 Result: Philadelphia 26, Minnesota 14 2-2, batting .500 Thats a lot of money to pay a guy for non-winning predictions. I'd rather go off of Tony Dungy and Mike Ditka. They are worth far more than King and know what they are talking about (as opposed to living in fantasy land): Newly minted "Football Night in America" analyst Tony Dungy is wasting no time jumping into his new role, questioning whether the Bears made the right choice in trading for quarterback Jay Cutler.
During
a teleconference to announce he'd be joining the NBC Sports today, the
former Indianapolis Colts coach who led his team to a Super Bowl
victory over the Bears in the 2006 season, was asked his thoughts about
Chicago's blockbuster offseason trade.
Dungy posited that the Bears made the move largely with beating the Packers in mind.
"I
really think Chicago gave up a lot to get a quarterback who they
believe is going to be the final piece of the puzzle," said Dungy. "But
I'm not sure he's won enough to merit that yet. It may turn out to be a
great move, but the jury's out. To me, it was a risky move. But I think
one that was done with the idea of beating one team."
Asked whether he thinks Cutler is the best quarterback in the NFC North, Dungy said it's too early to tell.
"We'll
see about the maturity level, that's what I would question," said
Dungy. "And some of the things that happened leading to him leaving
Denver. That would concern me as a coach. That's my question. I think
he can make all the throws. But quarterbacking is much more than making
throws (or putting up lots of yards)."
Dungy's first regular season appearance on NBC's
"Football Night in America" will be Sept. 13, when the Bears take on
the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field - Tony Dungy
"I don't think anything about what Tony said is earth-shattering," Ditka
said. "I think it's a fact. [Cutler] came here under uncertain
circumstances. The way he got out of Denver was kind of strange. But
the kid is a talent."
"People ask me one question: Is he a good quarterback?" he said in a
telephone interview. "Well, he has a great arm. He had great receivers
up in Denver, they had an offense that threw the football a lot, so it
highlighted his strengths. If he's in an offense that doesn't highlight
his strengths, what's his strength going to be? It has to be
leadership, like Tony said. And he has to prove that."
If Cutler does prove it, Ditka will do something he spent his entire coaching career preaching against: He'll commit a turnover.
"If they win with Jay Cutler and go to the Super Bowl, he will own this city," he said. "He can then have my key." - Mike Ditka
And there you have it BFM. There's no need to get all riled up about a QB who's done nothing in the NFL except yards and make throws. He's never been a leader since high school and he needs to prove he knows how to lead. Dungy and Ditka nailed it. Screw PK, he has no idea what he's talking about anyways when it comes to predictions. Hell, he even predicted (and was the ONLY one) that the Broncos would beat the Charger team in San Diego and move on to the playoffs. There's the first BAD Cutler prediction he made....and he's already made more that will ultimately prove him wrong. Look, Cutler even said so himself the he will always have a ? mark on his forehead until he starts winning games. He said that in 2007 and that question mark still is pinned to the guys forehead.

What has Phillip Rivers ever won in this league? You are the Chargers fan so can you please answer that question? Cutler has a lot to prove. So does Rivers. You act like Rivers has already proved something. Aside from going one and done in the playoffs after finishing 14 and 2, I don't see what he has proven. You don't like Cutlers arrogant attitude. How do you feel about Rivers showing up opponents? Are you OK with that? The Broncos have won 2 Super Bowls. The Giants won a Super Bowl with Eli Manning, after he wisely refused to play for the Chargers. The Bears have won 1 Super Bowl. The Chargers have won nothing. Why are you here?
Dear Ron Turner: We have our franchise QB now. Please don't screw this season up. We are counting on you. Sincerely, Bears fans

bearhunter:Whatifsports.... you bears fans will be running towards the woods at the end of the season these guys are dead on, they nailed it. Bears 8-8 best possible record, more likely 7-9 (LMAO!) Click Here to read 2009 NFC North Previewsorry if any of your bubbles just bursted!
ROFL
Clear enough? Jeez, you really are out to lunch aren't you?
Jeez, I guess I just lost the spelling bee oh well.
Not to mention every debate you have had with anyone on this message board.
Keep dreaming BFM, keep dreaming.
Re: Vikings to take the NFC North by storm? All others suck?
DA_MidwayNation:Yep the Vikes sure did take the division by storm last season 10-6 and barely beating the Giants second team in the last game of the season.
Yup. I'm with you. Almost losing to the Giants' second team and being just one full game ahead of us in the standings doesn't look like a storm to me. Unless the meaning of "storm" has changed in the past few years to mean "light rain" or "drizzle", I don't see the analogy.

Don't forget that the "mighty" Vi-Queens almost lost to the Kittys twice last year.
