saw some jay cutler interview after an OTA. the guy says "you know" at least 100 times in one interview. It was comical.

    Re: today's the day

It is my sons 18th birthday today, not mine....I wish I was 18 today though  :)

How does it work, do you pay to write the book then get proceeds from the sales? Or do you sell your story for 1 lump sum? Do you get sponsorship? I am curious, because these are things I need to find out. People came to me for this, so I am still very much in the dark and don't want to get taken advantage of. Thank you.

thats a complicated one? i got mine edited $1.50 dollars a page (still in that process) but it was cheap editing cuz shes trying to make it big and is kind of new at the job. Publicist take a vast range on salary based on exp, books pub, and etc. I also went with a low publicist trying to hit it big, but my bad about the birthday thing

Good luck! I'm about halfway done with a YA book I started a couple years ago.  I haven't had much time to sit down and work on it the last 6 months.  I'm not the type that can sit down and do a page here or there.  I need blocks of time to sit and knock out a chapter.  Mainly I just started it for fun.  I figured it would be cool to read to my son someday.  If you get published, I will buy a copy, mail it to you, and expect to get it back signed!

LOL, maybe because many kinds of fireworks (the good kind) are not allowed for Illinois residents. That's why there are so many fireworks stores across the border in Indiana. This is the state whose government hates guns.

Publisher, not publicist.  A publisher produces books and other printed works.  A publicist works in public relations generating and managing publicity for famous people.  You could have a publicist dealing with the publicity of your book when it gets released, but I don't think that's what you are talking about.
