No, I don't agree at all. I stopped arguing. You should try it sometime. Maybe someday you'll realize that it's not important to always have to have the last word.

    what don;t you agree about?

do you disagree wardi doing 10 page threads about beating bears on new years eve, isn't the same as bear fans happy we swept packers in 2007? and neither means that woudl rather not make the playoffs?

or do you disagree that the situations are "different".. and that as Usual you can make blanket and wrong statments about bear fans in "general".. but that same braod stroke shouldn't be used for packer fans?

“All I was trying to say is, we’ve got Chicago fans coming down, there’s going to be a lot of them, they get excited for their football team, they get excited to come to the game. So, in turn, them coming to the game brings a football atmosphere that I’m used to, and that gets me excited . ..richie incognito

Now where did I say that a loss (even an upset) wasn't a loss?

Again, I'll take that scenario every single season. I'd rather my team lose to the Bears twice every year and make the playoffs regardless than not make it at all.

Some rival fan you are....You really don't mind losing to the Bears..??.........wow  you should concider becoming a Bears fan..You would really love it..

    No kidding,

When they beat us on NYE they acted like they won the Super Bowl. Fortunately we were the ones playing in the SB.

exactlty, but somehow IHTB can't seem to see that simple fact, and hiding in ignorance instead.. that somehow its 'different"

Yet Favre's play in 2007 brought his team a division title. And with Favre playing, it makes it harder for the Bears to win the division. Yet that obvious fact is lost upon so many. All they keep going back to is the sweep in 2007.

They seem happy with the 2007 results. I know I was.

funny too that the Bears won the division in 05 and 06 and I seem to remember Favre taking every snap those two years.  Obvious fact lost by you IHTB.... oh wait, I must be "twisting" your comments again.  Sorry.

Come on DB, you read everything around here. You know exactly what I'm talking about.

"I wish Favre hadn't retired. We beat him twice last year. I hope he plays five more years. Pencil in another 10 wins..."

Yet Favre's play in 2007 brought his team a division title. And with Favre playing, it makes it harder for the Bears to win the division. Yet that obvious fact is lost upon so many. All they keep going back to is the sweep in 2007.

If it's such an obvious fact that it was Favre's play in 2007 that brought his team a division title then why are Packers fans acting like the team won't miss him at all in 2008 and that they will in fact win 10-11 games and run away with the division without missing a beat?  It's got to be one or the other, right?

I'm not sure which Packer fans you're referring to. But I'm not one of them. Favre will be missed for sure. You can't replace a guy like that.

As of right now, I think the Packers are a good enough team (even if Rodgers sucks) to win 10 games. Favre was Favre in 2007. But he also had a pretty solid team around him too.

What does 05 and 06 have to do with anything? It doesn't change what I said. Just because Favre plays isn't a guarantee that the Packers will win the division. Do you honestly believe that? If so, you might want to peek at the standings since 1992. The Packers didn't finish in first place in each of those seasons.

    Know your history Wisc.

    LOL.. you are a classic.

05 and 06 are much more relevant to 08 than 1992.   I did not argue that just because Favre plays the Packers win the division.  I argued about your comment that if he did play again it would make it more difficult for the Bears to win the division.  That is just a retarded statement since his last three years as a Packer QB the Bears have won 2 division titles.

shhhhhh !..mike IHTB and relevant facts like oil and water... so what if favre is 2-6( with only last game meaningless wins or would be 0-8) Since lovie took over.. jsut because we beat him like a drum each year doesn't mean we will beat him like a drum .. oh wait.. just his lordship prescence means they will win.. didn't you know how packerfans think yet?

oh, I get it... the Packers success last year was due to Favre's play and a solid team around him.  Imagine that.  Yet in 2006 the Bears won an NFC Championship despite their "awful" QB.

Nick Barnett played good enough last season to go. But he didn't. I suspect he might go this year. But again, who really cares? I'd give up the Pro Bowl for 13-3 any year.

Bingo. Anyone remember back last december against the pack, when orton asked Krutez who he wanted to run the ball at, and he immediatly shouted that he wanted to go right at 56? classic.

Barnett is a servicable linebacker in the NFL.  Nothing about him is special and a Pro Bowl is not happening   Unless there would be a slew of injuries in the NFC at his position, he is thug as well.   I would take every player above you mentioned over him, no question.
