2 passes that were just awesome....Kane to Sharp and the little backhand through the crease on the 3rd goal....what a game...Huet sorta showed up this game....sorta

I`m envious you get to see the Hawks play. I`ve been a big Hawks fan since Bobby Hull had a crewcut ....I know you can relate N&O

 

It's great watching these kids and with the home games now on TV. If you have a dish, you can buy Center Ice and watch them, don't know what the price is though.

I had a dish but too many reception problems where I live but thats ok....I will cherish the few Hawk games I will see on cable ...haven`t been to a BHawk game since 1975 ....maybe its time

Lost to Detroit 5-4 in the SO. Went down 2-0 very quickly, rallied back and took a 4-2 lead while dominating the 2nd, then blew the lead and lost it in the shootout.

Huet freaking blew the game, the first 2 goals were all his fault with a blown save and mishandling the puck behind the net.

Adam Burish placed on IR with a broken toe

Crawford sent back to Rockford, Habby is well enough to at least play back up for now.

Versteeg got suspended for 1 game for receiving an instigator penalty at the end of the Phoenix game

Pelletier was called up from Rockford to take Versteegs place for tomorrows game vs Ottawa.

2 beautiful goals...one by Sharp off the back of the goalie from in back of the net with 00.4 seconds left in the period to tie up the game... and the give n go between Keith and Havlat...Keith to Havlat...back to Keith and back to Havlat for a one timer...all from just inside the blueline...it was like fast poetry in motion...props to Huet, he's played great the last 2 starts.

Wisniewski has been recalled from Rockford and activated off the IR. He should play tonight. He's coming back after tearing his ACL last year and scored a hat trick during his minor league rehab. He'll bring some grit and willingness to throw which this team has been somewhat missing at times.

The Hawks have a log jam at defenseman now and it's only going to get worse when Johnson comes back from his injury.

Righit now the defenseman on the roster are:

Barker
Keith
Campbell
Seabrook
Wiz
Sopel
Walker
Johnson(IR)

When Johnson comes back someone has to go. Leaders for that based on play should be Walker and Sopel, who probably have to be traded as I'm not sure if either has a 2-way contract.

Something very special going on with the Hawks. They just keep coming and coming at other teams. They can skate like the wind and score from anywhere. When the 4th line is scoring like they are, you know they're good. Glad the Wiz is back...they still have Johnson and Burish healing....man this team is deep.
