    Me too!

Where are we gonna watch the first game?  Why don't we all put in our preference and then we'll tally the votes.[?]

I'm voting for Native New Yorker in Scottsdale @ ViaLinda/90th St.

Then it's back to Bruno's for week 2 and a family reunion with Lil Johnny!

    What do you guys think?

Native works for me. Might have a better atmosphere on a Sunday night. Although it'll be hard to get through the game without our little Johnny.

    Glad to hear Forney!

I'm going to Brunos cause I know Native New Yorker wouldn't be as much fun.

    All right......all right all ready.

I'll head over to Bruno's too.  Everytime I see a game there that is not at 10am on Sunday mornings....it sucks.  Bears play poorly and the crowds thin and lifeless.  It's surreal.  Bout the only thing you here is Big Fo yelling, "Dammmmmn it Peanut!!!"

    See ya there.

Shuffle you might as well make it official.

It's a Sunday night game.  I've got A LOT of Bears Fans interested in meeting at Native New Yorker (in Scottsdale: Via Linda and 90th St.). Bruno's is to far for a Sunday night.  We had a GREAT turn out for Bears/49ers preseason game.  Lets do it again, and than take it from there.

Native New Yorker gives us all tvs (big screens, ect.) and all sound, as loud as I tell them too.  Cheap beer, great atmosphere, decent food, some employees are Bears fans, right off the 101 highway, easy drive for most, and so on............

****BE THERE!!!  NATIVE NEW YORKER, SCOTSDALE****

I'll be sending out an official post and email (to AZ Bears Fans Email List).

    NEWS FLASH!

Bruno's is now an OTB and our section of the bar has been turned into the betting windows.  The place is also over run with Indians from the reservation.  I spoke with Greg and Captain last night and it does not seem they will be watching the games there.

So, I think it is best that do our first Sunday at Native New Yorker afterall and plan this out while watching the Bears cover AND win!

    RIP Bruno's

This makes me depressed. In 2006, it was a difficult time for me because I was in nursing school and was doing internships 2x a day that consisted of 12 hour shifts with a 15 minute break and countless sleepless nights staying up doing homework for the next night. Da Bears and Brunos was my 3 hours of therapy from school and the hospitals.

I was at every game last year at Bruno's, even the Sunday before my son was born. just because I didnt show up where you were dosen't mean I didnt watch and maybe I was there for the first half because everyone knows you never make it at kickoff.

about the OTB, It still hasen't passed the town council.

    Natureboy,

I am at the Alamo...late...quite often and I have never seen a fight there involving anybody from the Res.  I have only seen one Native American there period and I'm pretty sure he lives in FH.

I have only been at Bruno's a handful of times at night and there has been a fight EVERY time I was there.  Obviously all Native Americans aren't drunks but many of the ones that hang at Bruno's are the stereotypical drunk indians.  There were guys passed out at the bar, it was that bad.

Bruno needs to take care of his place before he goes under. He loses customers when there are fights like that
