you might think the guy had just died or something, the way NFL Network is paying amige to him its ridiculous.

He's one of the NFL's greatest players of all-time. And he's still playing. He will continue to get ridiculous press until the day comes that he finally does call it quits - for real.

Now the Patriots fans can hate him.

I was at the grocery store buying eight apples, and the clerk asked me if I would like a bag. And I said, "No, man, I juggle! But I can only juggle eight. If I'm ever here buying nine apples, bag 'em up!"

Why? he just made the Jets even easier to beat.

In what way?  Haven't their QB's thrown enough pics?  And how does a media circus improve the team?

Because he's a much better quarterback than the two guys they had. As for a media circus, you do realize in what city he plays, right? 0-16 or 16-0, it is always a media circus.

He once was better, now he's barely average. It's just his name and memories now.

And he plays in New Jersey.

...and also IN a "new jersey"...get it?

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

    Re: weakone

According to his most recent performance (which is what we have to go on) he is well above average.

Second in the MVP voting in the most recent NFL season. That hardly qualifies as "barely average."

Weak schedule, refs calling things in GB's favor...and the media's head up his @ss...They were hoping that if he had enough "glory" he'd retire. But he HAD to throw that pick against the Giants...nothing anyone could do to hide that one.

So now he's back, having failed to force GB to let him start, with a team he has no hope of improving...Oh he better be good this year....

So it was a conspiracy by the NFL to have Brett go out on top? And that's why he had a good year?

I'm saying it was a stretch to give him MVP status. The media still thinks it's 1996.

Waht good does it do to have a great season if you blow it for your team when it counts?

But IHTB just very rarely noted his differences...he liked to keep his differences a secret and love sitting on the sideline watching the show.  Now he sends Wardi messages to us.

Contrary to IHTB's suggestion, nobody here misses the troll...except IHTB.

So when Favre got booted off of the Packers by Thompson, I assume that made the Packers a much worse team.

...or do you have a spin here for how Favre makes the Jets a much better team, but the Packer losing Favre does not make them worse?
