Jay comes and looks like Rex. The issue isnt the QB, perhaps it's higher up, not Lovie but higher. Why does this team have such a problem with QB's? Offensive cordinator, or maybe GM... We NEED A NEW GM!!!!

The pass states that tailgating is not allowed and that the lot opens 2 hours before the game. The entrance to the lot is right at McFetridge Drive and Lake Shore Drive. Easy in and easy out. It's a very short walk to the stadium. The stadium is accross the street.
Will sell for $30. I am located in Oak Lawn. E-mail me at: sffrontrow@gmail.com

after paying a $75.00 bill for six at a lehigh pub, the couple decided not to tip because the food took an hour to reach the table. I certainly don't think it is now even though I am sure it will be a reality some time soon.

I am actually rather impressed with how well our wide receivers have done so far this year. When Hester stays on his feet runs the right routes and runs them with authority I think he has become a very good # 2 wide receiver in this league. But not a # 1. I can also say that I think that Earl Bennett has become a reliable outlet for Cutler and I almost think of him as a possession receiver.

When Olsen has been targeted I think that he has done well. But he is still a sissy in the blocking game and has gotten smacked around in some games.

I don't really see who the Bears could give a chance to play at either of those positions that really has a future on the team besides the guys that have already played aside from Aromashadu<sp>.

The same can not be said for offensive and defensive lines.

On the offensive line we need to come to a few realities:

1. We suck at running the ball. We get no push from our interior line and they all need to go or at least get moved around until something works.

2. Orlando Pace is too old. I thought he was goning to come in and be awesome. Really thought that Angelo had finally gone out and made a great move when he did this. That being said I think it is time to end the Pace project.

3. Frank Omiyale is not a guard. When he excelled at Carolina it was at right tackle. Alot of people think that any tackle should be able to move in to play at guard but that is not true. They are totally seperate and unique positions.

Omiyale had more success playing RT because he is not strong enough to push around NFL caliber defensive tackles. But he was strong enough to muscle up on some defensive ends. He has decent mobility to body up on an end but not the strength to push around a player that is most likely 40-70lbs heavier and undoubtably stronger.

Move Chris Williams to the position that we drafted him to play. Left tackle. Find out if he can play there. He is not a right tackle. Right tackles are generally stronger run blockers, Chris Williams is anything but that.

4. Olin Kreutz is no longer dominant at the point of attack. He is not pushing people off the ball and he really seems like more of a liability than a strength on this team. I would suggest starting Beekman at center but that is just not very likely with Kreutz being a team leader and all.

5. Give Lance Louis a chance. Our guards have not been getting it done. Lets see if he can. He has the size and the speed to be a pulling guard.

I am not sure what you do with the other guard spot. Probably keep Garza there and address it in free agency of with the 3rd round pick. What would be really new and encouraging would be if Angelo did both.

6. Forte has not been lighting the world on fire like he did last year. I am not sure if that is because we dont have the o-line for him or lack of attempts or even because of a sophmore slump but I do know that the Bears need more production out of their running game. So draft another running back. That is probably one of the few positions that a complete stud can be found in the late rounds. Stop drafting gimick players like garrett wolf and get a player. I am not sure why but it seems like the Bears like to draft running backs that they never intend to let run the ball.

When our Adriane Peterson was drafted way back when he was one of the most succesful collegiate runners in the history of football at any level. I am not sure, its been a long time since I read it but he either gained over 100 yards in every game he player in college or did it in every game but 1-2. That is saying something. I know he went to lowly Georgia Southern but that is crazy. He has never really been given the chance that he deserved. The same thing with Garrett Wolf, the Bears never drafted him with the intnetion of turning the Bears running game over tohim. Then why draft him? The jaguars at least got value out of their midget runningback, tons of it.

Maybe the truth is that Forte is our change of pace back, and we need a grinder. A Jerome Bettis type. Brandon Jacobs. Marion Barber. Someone that feeds off of delivering a hit. Forte is not that guy. He does not get stronger as the game progresses.

My last issue is the defensive line. We traded away our second round pick for a guy. Lets see him play. trial by fire and all that. He got drafted into a cover 2 defense and traded to be back into one. He should be able to slide right in. If by the end of the year he is still not a part of this defensive squad then I would hazard to guess that it was a bad trade. Give Tommy Harris all the time he needs this season to see if he really wants to play. If by the end of the year he is still acting like he does not wanna give his all then boot the bum. But where are the rookies we drafted? I am sick of seeing video clips of some kid jumping out of a pool. Lets see a clip of this kid jumping on Bret Favre Dec.28 in front of the home crowd.

The Bears have a couple of easy wins left on the schedule. St.Louis, Detroit. Besides that who knows. And most years at this point, the point where I realize they are not really a contender, I secretly hope for better draft position. I really wanted better draft position the year that the Bears got Chris Williams. If we had lost that game to the Saints we would have gotten Ryan Clady instead of this weak backed bum. But this year we have to fight and claw for worse position. Every win we squander gives the Broncos a better pick. And if we give them a pick that turns into a hall of fame caliber player we will never live it down. And neither will Jay Cutler or Jerry Angelo.

If the Bears make this move with 5-6 games left in the season they could have some idea of what is going on before next season. Instead of entering 2010 with a laundry list of questions maybe they cna find some answers. All I know is the answers are not going to be found in the current lineup

GOTTA LOVE THE RAH BEARS MENTALITY

Ted Phillips blaming the media for all of the negativity

By Jay Sorgi

Story Created: Nov 19, 2009

BAGHDAD - It seems that the Brett Favre-Green Bay Packers saga is such a worldwide phenomenon that it's being used by detainees in American military camps.

According to a military official, detainees at a Wisconsin National Guard camp in Iraq are using Brett Favre as a manner of getting at the guard troops there.

"They know Favre by name," said First Lieutenant Tim Boehnen, who is from New Richmond, Wis.

"One of the big words they know now is shenanigan. They'll constantly talk about 'Favre shenanigans,' 'He's so good for the Vikings,' and 'The Packers have got to really feel bad about that one.' "

According to Boehnen, it started when troops there started decorating their camp in Packers colors.

"We try to allow our troops to have as much fun in the compound as they can while still maintaining our professional manner," explained Boehnen.

"We spend a lot of time painting and making our compound our own and representing us. Obviously, wherever Wisconsinites go, we bring the Packers with us."

Once the decoration job happened, detainees became curious.

"They obviously then started up the conversations, and started talking about Brett Favre. They soon learned about Favre going to the Vikings, and things just started going downhill from there."

It's our first time in Chicago, and for most it's the first NFL game so we're looking to join with some Bears fans and partake in some tailgate action before the game. We're not all that interested in a commercial tailgate, would rather find some real fans who tailgate old school. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Other teams with a minus -5 turnover total are 11- 43

We R 4-5 superbowl baby remember i Said it!!!!!

2 tickets Bears vs. Eagles & 31st st. parking pass

Will sell face value. Section 350 row 14 seats 15,16. Email me at bturyna@cusd200.org

Bears Rams Tix on 50 yard line

I have 4 tix to sell on the 50 yard line in sec 437, row 37.
Opposing fans need to use certain decorum when wearing enemy colors

Ugly fan behavior has long been a part of sports. I suspect in medieval times, the first English soccer fan downed one too many pints of ale, painted his chest, smuggled his spiked club into a game and next thing you know, hooliganism was born.

Because we wouldn't be anywhere without England, it was only a matter of time before Americans were getting drunk, painting their chests and beating on each other -- though, thank goodness, the NFL banned spiked clubs, I believe, at that meeting at the Hupmobile dealership.

Megan Pluister received an unexpected gift for her 23rd birthday -- the promise of Bears tickets.

''I'm much happier,'' said Pluister, whose recent game- day experience was ruined by some overreaching fan- services and security staffers at Soldier Field. ''I'm pleased with the way the Bears have handled it. [Director of fan services Bob Laskowski] called me and apologized over and over, and the Bears are giving us two tickets and a parking pass to the Dec. 6 game against the St. Louis Rams.''

him and continue to develop him. He's really only in his third year as
a starting QB in the NFL so he can either grow into a perennial
pro-bowler or regress into something similiar to a Jeff George. We can
ruin him if we don't invest in his development. It's obvious that
Lovie knows jack about offense and some may say he knows jack about
defense as well. We need to bring someone in here to make our
investment payoff. It's like we are sitting on an oil field and don't
know how to properly drill for it. I don't think that Lovie will get
fired this year but if they don't let Turner go, they should bring in a
proven consultant that knows how to develop qbs. I don't think Jay
even listens to Pep.

Return oif the Debbie downer thread!!!!

Yeah so since the erasing of the debbie downer thread by the mods the bears a re 1-3. 3-1 with. By all my guestimations that makes this thread good luck.
