Cubs...but I like the White Sox too.  Cubs more so due to the close ties to Da Bears in their histories.

My parents were married when I was born. I'm a Cubs fan.

If you're a Sox fan and a big Cubs hater, you should also hate the Bears.  The Bears and Cubs were tied together through 1970 as were the Sox and the Chicago Cardinals through the late '50s.  The Northside team was the Bears for football.

Cubs. Grew up too far south of Chicago to see the Sox on UHF channel 32, then 44. Channel 9 always came in great on the black and white in our bedroom and the color in the living room.

I used to not mind the cubs, but as displayed by the messages already on this post... cubs fans act like all sox fans are poor or trashy. It's disrespectful... totally untrue... and an excuse for 100 years of terrible cubs baseball.

I don't know about all that, the Cardinals have been winning with smoke and mirrors. Don't get me wrong, Kyle Lohse has been an ace in the league for a long time now, but he's almost past his prime.

But I like both, my dad likes the Cubs but my mom liked the Sox, so I cheer for them both.

But, if we saw The El Series, I'd be with the Cubs, just a more likeable team to me, and it's always been that way.

As long as they're in separate leagues though, I want 'em both to win

I don't think the cubs will screw it up. i think they and the sox go all the way through the summer atop their divisions. They both are good teams.

the sox have alot more power(look up and down the sox lineup......all those guys could have 20+HR by august) and their pitching in whole has been amazing.

the cubs have more youth and star power. Their pitching have been solid and the entire team is swinging the bat well and scoring runs.

Both have questions though:

Sox have inconsistent hitting and I don't know if we can win 100+ ball games with awesome pitching alone. also no real depth.

The cubs have been terrible on the road(if they had the sox's schedule they wouldn't be the best in the majors) and if they plan on taking the title they will need to win on the road.
