3 solid O-Linemen in the draft. I like it. No qb which sucks. I hope they have their eyes on a free agent. And Jeff I know we have Grossman so we dont need a qb.

    Re: 2008 Draft Party

Since there's a three month break until the season starts... anyone going to the Cubs/Diamondbacks game at BOB on the 23rd of July?  For Mother's Day - best present ever...got tickets along the 1st baseline!  Should be a fun series after the Cubs sweeping the snakes...  I'll be the one with some type of attention-getting sign or apparel. : )  Any ideas?  Anyone who knows me understands that under my Cub paraphenalia will be #72 Fridge shirt - it's good luck, you know.

P.S.  the draft party at teakwoods was so much fun!  you guy'se are the greatest....even you W.S. fans (although you don't throw the peanuts quite as well at the Old Style pyramid as the Cubbie fans : ) )

    Re: 2008 Draft Party

Of course we'll all be at the dBacks/Cubs game.  We'll meet at Jackson's on third 8 hours before the game....as usual, get liqoured up and then harrass anything in Sedona Red.

Plus, it should be a preview of the NLCS.

And even us Sox fans have fun at the game.

LOL 8 hours?  Holy Mackeral Batman - I don't think this lightweight would make it to the game, let alone doing any harassing. : )

Glad you Sox will be there... I can't wait!  <I'll be  the one with the "attention getting" something or other.... >

Sox vs. that other Chicago team

I see that the Sox play some team called the Cubs later this month. Anyone getting together to watch the Sox slaughter them?

You're right, Zeek. It's a foregone conclusion so why would Scrubs fan watch their team get beat by the Sox.

    SOX vs cubs

                Sox vs. Cubs

    Saturday June 21st 10am pst

           Native New Yorker

Scottsdale.... NE corner of Via Linda and 90th St.

Just off the 101 at the 90th St / Pima exit.  That's the exit just south of Shea.  It is basically across the street from Teakwoods where we have had the last 2 NFL Draft parties.

This might be the new Bears bar for the valley, lots of TV's, your own selectable sound to listen to any game and good food.

For any ND fans, it is already the official ND Alumni bar for the valley.

I'll call Shuffle and have her send the group a mass mailer.

If any of you are playing hookie on Friday or are unemployed like me, I'll be there that day also.  That's an 11:20 local start but to be fair it is on WGN so it can be viewed from home.

Let me know who's interested.  We've already have 8 going.  4 Sox fans, 3 Cub fans and an A's fan... don't ask

    See you guys there.

I love the hat...Now I know what to get for my soon-to-be-born nephew. Go Sox!!

    JDsJerseyStore,

You still go to SandBar?  I have a buddy from home who just moved out here and lives right behind the bar.  He's a HUGE Sox fan.  I know he hangs out there.  He'll be at Native New Yorker Saturday morning.

You gonna be able to make it Saturday AM?

    ffPerez76,

Are you and ur crew gonna make it to Native New Yorker?  I know you have been thinking about Temple Bar as a new home but I think you might like this place and the owner wants a team to take it over on Sundays.  Anyways... Hope to see you guys on Saturday morning.

Re: AZ BEAR FANS - WEEK 8

    Natureboy72:

Did you get picked up by the short bus when you were in school. The Bears WILL NOT resign Rex. If for some reason they sign McNabb you will be on his jock when he throws 3 td's in a game, so don't talk to much trash about him. There is only like 5 or 6 qb's that are worth a crap in the NFL so I'm sure another team will invite Rex to camp hopefully a NFC North team will take him and then MAYBE Peanut will get a INT or 4.

Correct me if I'm wrong didn't Tavaris lead the Vikings to a victory at Soilder? I know what you are going to say Peterson did everything. Well last year the Bears defense won those games. Rex was just there for the ride.

Who's on the short bus now Big J?  You...... or Mr. Angelo???  lol  Sorry couldn't resist this tasty blast from the past.
