    Re: AZ Bear Fans-Game 5

Sorry about that.  I got tied up at the house and wasn't ready to leave until 10 minutes before kick-off.  The "other" place is a mile from my house so it only made sense.

I have to be close to home next Sunday so I will be at NNY again.

I'll swing by this famous Bruno's place for the Vikings game.  I want to see what makes this place worthy of making the Arizona Repulsive's best NFL bars.

Hopefully the Dodgers will be beating somebody in the Sorld Series so I can listen to Johnny go ballistic about 'em.  Do you think he knows that they aren't the Brooklyn Dodgers anymore???

    How was the turnout?

    AZ Bear Fans-Game 5

AZ BEARS FANS - GAME  5 UPDATE:

How many times did we sing the "Chicago Bears Fight Song" last Sunday!?!?  I think we were singing not only when we scored, but when we caught the ball, ran with the ball, timed out, called a play, drank some water, and so on..... to funny.  Our AZ Bears Fan Group is LOUD and CRAZY!  But that's Chicago fans for ya.  :-)

The Southside Chicago family (brothers/sisters/uncles/aunts/nephews/neices) from Summit & Brookfield & such, we had a blast with ALL of you.  Looking forward to seeing (and hearing) you all this Sunday.

TRX440 & Urlacher1285, good seeing you boyz, glad you came out to Native New Yorker for the game. Urlacher, it was so nice to meet your new wife, congrats!

I think we built an "Old Style" beer can pyramid after the game, who's camera phone did I take a picture of it with?  Or did I?  A little fuzzy, don't completely remember.

6 new Bears Fans added to our "AZ Bears Fan Email List", WELCOME, see you at Native New Yorker this Sunday.  If anyone else is interested in joining our "AZ Bears Fan Email List", to stay in the Chicago Loop (ha), email me at:  AngelineJohnson@cox.net

SEE YOU ALL AT NATIVE NEW YORKER -Scottsdale (Via Linda & 90th St.), THIS SUNDAY, SAME TIME, SAME PLACE, SAME BEER, SAME SONG!!!!!

It's ok, there was about 15 Bears fans there. Johnny was wearing his LA hat giving the play by play of the Dodgers over the Cubs. I'm liking that its just the oldschoolers at Brunos, no distractions I can focus on the game. Hopefully one game you will grace us with your presence.(We miss YOU Rob)

    BTW,

It was classic when the old timers started singing.... Nah-Nah-Nah-Nah...Hey-Hey-Hey....Good Bye! to the Cheeseheads who had been hiding on the family side.  That was good times!

    Dink,

Then I'm in!  I have a full head of hair...its just that alot of it has moved south and relocated on my shoulders.  I guess it was too crowded up on top of my melon.

"ONE CITY, ONE TEAM"  "ONE CITY, ONE TEAM"   "ONE CITY, ONE TEAM"

If you haven't had a chance to read all the phrases under the "One City, One Team" campaign on the Bears website (under "Fan Zone") definitely read them, ALL of them.  Every time I do, I get soooo pumped up for the Bears. It reminds me of where I came from and why I LOVE  and am so PROUD to be a Bears Fan!!!!  Read them, print them out, hang them on your fridge. GO CHICAGO!

BEARS vs.Falcons,  NATIVE NEW YORKER -Scottsdale (Via Linda & 90th St.)

Same time, same place, same fans (plus about 15 more), same beer, same fight song!

Note: if you have a Chicago Bears banner, sign, or flag bring it into Native this Sunday and we will hang it up for the Bears season. We need to color our Bears Den with orange and blue!

See you ALL this Sunday at Native New Yorker.  BEAR DOWN!!!!!!!!

Thanks.  How's about we start with a foot rub and a pie from Malnati's.  We'll see how you handle that before I give you anything too taxing.  :-)

AZ BEARS FAN UPDATE (Game 6):

Disappointment - Upset - Mad - P***ed Off!!!!!  Though it was another great turnout of Bears Fans last Sunday, the result of the game SUCKED!

Rookies (present):  a few new faces at the Bears Den (Native New Yorker), good to see you all, welcome!

Missing in action (absent):  Uncle Zeek (& Mrs.Uncle Zeek to be), Heide, Joe V., where you at? You best be there this Sunday, or else.

Flag on the play (crazy moments at the bar):   last 11 seconds in game, ex's showing up at bar starting trouble, girls wearing 6 inch heels to watch the Bears game (just giving our rookie fan/her friend a hard time, it's all good girl).

Vikings game this Sunday. Lots of "Vicking Haters" out there, Native New Yorker is going to be pretty packed this Sunday. Maybe I'll show up earlier than normal (or just on time), and move some things around to make room.

See ya this Sunday!  BEAR DOWN................................
