Great food, cheap beer, and a ton of screens! I have a lot of games to watch this Saturday, so this is a good place to watch a lot of games at once. Plus, they have a free texas hold'em tourny at 1pm. What a combo! It is a smoking bar, but it is not smokey at all, finally, relief.

 

What kinds of "stake" do they have at this bar?

I hate Arpaio, he may save tax payers $30k cause he doesn't offer salt and pepper in his jail, but will get sued for $5 million dollars for unlawful arrest.

Oh yea..Bruno's was rockin' and rollin this year. All of those 6 Bear fans going crazy in a cracker jack box than smells like fried hair. WOO HOO!

If you don't have a ticket, don't worry, they sell them all over the streets by the park, very very easy to buy.  Just grab a "Lawn" seat (street price runs about $10-15 each), only way to go if your a true Cubs Bleacher Bum!

We all meet before the game tailgating, of course, and sipping on some cold "Old Styles" (Chicago style, oh yeah).  We meet at the parking lot just across the street from the park, it's the only $4.00 parking lot, there's a house (painted a funny color) in front of the huge open lot and usually this old, very nice, lady is handling the money.  If we don't see ya there, we'll see ya in the "Lawn", left field.

Did the Cubs win either game against the juggernaut that is Chicago's undisputed best baseball organization, otherwise known as The White Sox. [?]  Just curious.

Hey Urlacher1285: Was looking out for the best interest of everyone (as always).  Just wasn't feeling it at Bruno's last year, you know. Had to seek new hangout last year. It's all good, we'll get roll'n this year, for sure!

Just thought I'd share a picture from us celebrating after our Cubbies WIN against the D-backs spring training game this year, at Sluggo's bar.  Our proud "Old Style" pyramid! And well, the way you see it, a little blurry, is yes you guessed it the way we were seeing it at that time.  Ha!!!  Good timez at the Cubs spring training games this year group, glad you all came out!

Our ages range from 23 to 50 and have been togther now for about 4 seasons almost never missing a game unless someone is out of town or we all go on the road with the team.  We are in the process of feeling out a new bar to watch games at due to the IDIOT Eagles fans at UpperDeck! Anyways we are thinking of going to a new bar called Temple in N. Scottsdale for this season if anyone would like to join us.  I am friends with two of the managers one having been a roomate and they have turned the bar into a Bears/Broncos bar.  We should always be able to get sound cause the teams play at different times all but one week this year and who would deny us the sound during a Bears/Packers game that week!

DA BEARZ!!!!  Season hasn't even begun, and I am getting a lot of emails from new (Rookie) AZ Bears Fans requesting to be on our email list.  Rock on!!!!  This is great.  Our AZ Bears Group is growing and growing every year, getting very huge.  That's awsome.  I think at our Draft Party we should all make an "official" decision on our definite Bears Den for this year.  We've got alot of new people with new bars they have in mind.  So lets put our Chi-town heads together and figure this one out at the party, (possibly before the "Old Style" starts a flowing). Ha!

Welcome to the official spot for all things Chicago.  Where bouts in Scottsdale are you? I'm at Shea & The 101.  I went to Temple Bar on St. Patty's and walked away with the Baggo championship...I might add.  Nice place, maybe too nice for a Bear bar.  Good news is that the owners are Chicagoans if I heard correctly that evening.  I don't remember any big screens there, all in the 42" variety......not good either.  You should go out to Fountain Hills for a game at Bruno's.  We make EVERY bar in the valley look stupid....except Harold's in Cave Creek, when it comes to rabid fans.  Know the fight song or you'll get called out & bring your liver...you'll need it.  And lastly, it is summer so we will need to know if you are a Northsider or Southsider.  Sox - Cubs arguements keep us sharp in the off season. 

Shuffle, wanna make an official posting about the Draft Party?  I still say Teakwoods so we can get $1 Old Styles.  Sorry, didn't mean to step on your toes!

Last year was fun, we took control (even the remote controls) of the bar, did they have a choice!?  One man down, during the peanut fights (I heard Tod recovered just fine though), not bad.  And I still don’t know where that lazy-boy recliner came from, HA!!!!
