From which team do we pick up the keys to the NFC North cellar?

LOL...The roomates, who IMHO will still be fighting for sole position of the basement again this year.  Although I guess since the lowly Lions swept the Bears last year they are sleeping on the cot, and the Bears are lying on the floor.  Now if we could only get the Vikings down there too...

Again, I am trying to figure out why Packer fans are here dogging the Bears after last night's embarrassing performance against the Niners.  The Seahawks are a lot better than the Niners, and we made them work OT to beat us.  The Niners flat out destroyed the Packers.

But, whatever floats your boat.  The way NFC North teams are playing right now, the whole frickin division might finish in last place.

How's the weather in Arizona, Wardi?

Relax, it's only preseason Mike.  Should be an interesting year though.  Lots of unknowns in our division.

Hey A-Rodge...I assume your pic of Rex is a bit of a gag.....on all fours and all!! The funny thing is, Rex did fall on all fours on that play....but it was a Packer who snuggled up behind him! I change your sign pick.

    Packer Gag:
"ESPN Interview. Puker Coach Mike McCarthy gets asked how the Packers will do next season....McCarthy says 'well perhaps 6-10 or 7-9, you know Favre has quit so it might be tough'. Lovie Smith is asked how the Bears will do next season....Lovie says 'Well it has to be 16-0 and WIN the Superbowl by at least 40-50 points...and Forte will break 2,500 yards and Orton will throw for well over 50td's, and I can see Bryant catching at least 150 passes. ESPN reporter says 'Lovie you are getting a bit carried away eh!'....Lovie says...'he started it''

Relax, it's only preseason Mike.  Should be an interesting year though.  Lots of unknowns in our division.

    Pre-season...lots of unknowns....

    2007 pre-season

New England's first 2 games...New England 10-13 Tampa....only 210 net yards!!, Tennessee 27-24 New England...298 total yards and 4 interceptions vs Titans inc 2 picks for Brady.

Well last year New England offense looks poor, 210 yards vs Tampa and just 10 points and then 4 picks vs Titans...These Patriots might struggle with this level of performance in their first 2 pre-season games. Brady was being sacked and pressured and he looked vunerable....

    Regular Season 16-0
Brady 4,800+ yards, 50 td passes

and as far as unknowns are concerned..lets ask an expert!

"Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns -- the ones we don't know we don't know." - Donald Rumsfeld

Goto to NFL.com and look at the teams page for Bears and pre-season game where Bears lost 27-3 to Denver in 2002, the attendance is listed as "1".

Was that you IHTB all alone at Soldier Field?

Yep, that was me. I felt really bad for the Bears. I know. I know. Call me a softie. But when the news reported that Bears fans had no interest in seeing their team play in Champaign, well I just had to go and give them some support.

IHTB has already admitted he does not watch Bear games.  Despite this, he is an expert critic of the team.

Come on now Wisc. I never admitted any such thing. I watch every Bear game I can. That probably amounts to maybe six per year. But I can only watch what is broadcast around here.

I did watch most of both of their preseason games this year though.

What did I mean Wisc? I said I don't watch too many. And that's the truth. And the reason for that is simple. They usually play the same time the Packers do. Therefore they aren't broadcast around here. But when they don't conflict, they're quite often shown. And when they are, I watch them.

I could care less about the reason why you watch or do not watch Bear games.  The point was, ready for that 2x4?? here it comes, you have no clue what you are talking about when it comes to the Chicago Bears.  Come to think of it you are pretty clueless about professional sports in general.
