What kind of fan are you during Bears games?

What type of fan are you when gameday rolls around and our Bears are playing? Are you the guy that's relaxed and doesnt show much emotion who can get over a loss and feels "eh it's only a game." Or are you the guy thats cussing up a storm during the game and boy if we lose it really effects you throughout the week. Do you guys throw things during the game when something bad happens? Maybe you get into the games the wife doesnt want to be in the same house as you when we lose....Let's hear what kind of a Bears fan you're come game time.

I tend to be calm during the game, and not say much. But when they lose I don't yell but i'm usually mad for the next day.

Re: What kind of fan are you during Bears games?

I'm pretty loud during the games especially if I'm out at a restaurant or something like that.  If we win I'm happy for the next couple days and wear a bears jersey (on Mondays or whatever the day after the game is).  If we lose/losing I cuss up a storm and don't want to talk to any one the rest of the day because they always tell me "it's only a game", and that just makes it worse lol.

Haha thats the worst line any big fan of a team can hear after his team loses is "it's just a game" I HATE that phrase.

I watch every game over my boy's house. Him, his wife, his brother, his wife, me, my wife. we go nuts we have penalty flags we throw when there should be a penalty. we have a challenge flag. every score we play Bear Down on the surround sound stereo. we all wear either home or away and once a year orange depending on what the bears are wearing that day. we get pissed off if it changes. we basically go nuts. good food plenty of beers. we're loud and crazy great time. I am depressed now just thinking about it because its not football season now.
I didn't come here to start no trouble.

Re: What kind of fan are you during Bears games?

I am extremely loud, so loud that the neighbors complain sometimes about how loud I am. :P

In fact, in December last year I watched the final Bears/Packers game with my neighbor who's the biggest cheesehead you'd ever meet. I remember when Matt Forte took the field I ran and got my Bears jersey and stood up; telling my neighbor "Ohhh man, you're gonna get your I luv my behind kicked now."

He responded with something like, "Pfft, you're down by a shitload. You're not even going to come close!"

And lo and behold... Matt Forte absolutely dominated the Packers defense for the rest of the game; and we won.

I was screaming at the top of my lungs and doing victory laps while my neighbor sulked out of my house. =P

Re: What kind of fan are you during Bears games?

I watch every game at a local Bears' bar in Bakersfield, Ca.. Like myself, there are many passionate fans who are on pins and needles throughout every game (bears' games are always close). I throw out a little bit of profanity during the game, and yes, I usually am bothered for a couple of days after a loss.

I get pissed easy, especially during Ron's playcalling, if we lose, I am pissed for like two or three days, then get excited about the upcoming game

Bears Winning = At home yelling wearing bears jersey playing Bear Down on every score and jumping around. Example- Cardinals game I lost my voice when Hester ran it back for the win.

Bears losing or lost = Silent and mad as hell. Falcons loss last second field goal to lose. Sat in the same spot on the couch for 3 hrs and didnt say a word to the wife. Mad for 3 days.

Re: What kind of fan are you during Bears games?

Me, my wife and whoever is down usually make a giant meaty cheesy sub sandwich swimming in vinegar before the game, then take shots of Jim Beam at kickoff. we always stand and yell for the return and shotgun beers for every score/sack. We scream at the TV whether we are winning or losing and just make a ton of racket (our neighbors are Packers fans) We always hang up our big Bears flag in front of the house on game day and when we win, me and the bros will run up and down the street with it until the cops tell us to reign it in. Then we go back inside eat a bunch of food and watch the other NFC north teams lose. I freakin hate summer.

Whether we are winning or losing, I'm probably talking to the t.v.  If we're winning, I'm off the couch jumping up and down, but if we're losing, I'm yelling at the refs, announcers and coaches/players.  It will take me at least a day to get over a loss, the Superbowl took a couple of months.  It was such a tough loss that it actually felt like my spirit was broken.  Last year, I forget which game, I actually hurt my husband's hand when I threw down the remote in disgust -sorry honey.

Doesn't matter where I am or who I am with, I'm hootin' and hollerin'- cussing up a storm when something goes wrong and jumping on furniture when something goes right. If we win, it's like my birthday and Christmas morning put together, if we lose, it's like my grandmother just died. I'm usually a pretty reserved person, but when it's game time that goes out the window.

"There are only about a dozen NFL quarterbacks with the arm, charisma and willpower to carry a team to the Super Bowl. Cutler is on that list; Kyle Orton is not. Yet the Broncos gave Cutler away to the Bears because he didn’t make a positive first impression on new head coach Josh McDaniels. Franchise quarterbacks are harder to find than Super Bowl coaches. In fact, franchise quarterbacks often make Super Bowl coaches." -Rick Gosselin

I live in Wisconsin so when we lose the rest of my week is horrible lol. But when the game's on I'm jumping up and down. Screaming at the top of my lungs and cussing like crazy. When we lose I've gotten better lately. I learned to kinda rub it off but it still haunts me the rest of the day.

There's nothing better then being a Bear's fan.

Re: What kind of fan are you during Bears games?

My wife doesn't like to be in the house when the Bears play.  I don't throw anything but I yell at the TV all the time when they do stupid stuff.  I also yell when they do good things though too.  I can't miss my games and if I do it feels like something has been taken away from me.  My wife is a packer fan so things don't go so well when we're around her family if they're playing each other.  They're typical packer fans.  They have absolutely no clue about the game but they'll make all kinds of rude comments about the Bears.  They seem more worried about the Bears messing up then the packers playing good.  Must be hard to be ignorant.

Re: What kind of fan are you during Bears games?

im really loud, but i've noticed if they play terrible and we lose im not too distraught over it.. but rather the games we play good and lose.

It's always a few "what ifs", last year was probably the most frustrating year.. reminded me so much of 95.

2007 I kinda knew we'd suck going in with that attitude.
