Kreutz, Tait, Muhammed, Miller, Manning Jr. and Archuletta make me sick. Literally. All of these guys are 100% DONE. Yet cutting them doesn't look like an option due to their ridiculous signing bonuses.

Then you have the Benson number displayed. Not to mention Walker.... WHO better be cut!

    This is horrible.

    What do the astrisks mean?

Astrisk mean player has LTBE's in contract that are hard to figure..

and rabih please take the whining down 10 notches, all 32 teams have some players overpaid/underperforming.. its a non-starter.

    Potential cap hits:

    1. Brian Griese- $2.7 million ( unamortized bonus left)- 1.4 mill ( salary)- 300,000( roster bonus)= 1 million in cap space to cut

    2. Darwin walker- 2.4 mill( unamortized bonus)-1.15 mill(salary)-$5.2 mill Rb)=Saves 1.65 mill to cut

    3. Moose-  3mill( Sb)- 1.6 mill Salary- 500K Rb= 900,000 in cap space to cut

    4. Fred miller-  2.2 Mill( Sb)- 4 mill salary  = Saves $1.8 million to cut

Wouldn't it save us $3.95M to cut Walker? (2.4 hits the cap - 1.15 salary saved - 5.2 bonus saved = 3.95 saved)

    4. Fred miller-  2.2 Mill( Sb)- 4 mill salary  = Saves $1.8 million to cut

Wouldn't it save us $3.95M to cut Walker? (2.4 hits the cap - 1.15 salary saved - 5.2 bonus saved = 3.95 saved)

Yep, fixed.. see what happens when you stare are cap #'s for 4 hours to do this thread?.. you forget the easy stuff...

    Potential cap hits:

    1. Brian Griese- $2.7 million ( unamortized bonus left)- 1.4 mill ( salary)- 300,000( roster bonus)= 1 million in cap space to cut

    2. Darwin walker- 2.4 mill( unamortized bonus)-1.15 mill(salary)-$5.2 mill Rb)=Saves 1.65 mill to cut

    3. Moose-  3mill( Sb)- 1.6 mill Salary- 500K Rb= 900,000 in cap space to cut

    4. Fred miller-  2.2 Mill( Sb)- 4 mill salary  = Saves $1.8 million to cut

thanks for the thread, it's really helpful... where do you come up with the information on each player?  Also, not to make more work for you but I think it would also be helpful to add in parentheses how many years left they have on their contract after their annual amortization to find the total unamortized amount that would go against the cap if cut... although you took care of the big ones in the post right below it.  Might not be worth it but thanks again!

that's the "royal pain in the neck".. it comes from the NFLPA site, articles from trib/suntimes/espn/usa etc.. you have to kind of take many different sources to figure it out( and many have them wrong) and try and back out #'s to figure Signing bonuses, and roster bonuses..
