TrueChicagoBearsFan:Are there any bars where bears fans go to watch the games? Last season I visited Rocksport in W.Seattle (all Seagull fans) and they would only play Da Bears on the small 19" TV in the corner.
Yep, Goldies is where all of us go on Sunday. There are anywhere from 15-30 Bear fans in attendance. Usually we have the run of the big screen during the games.
It's in the U district if you are wondering. Just keep tuned in here, Bearchick will be posting info as the season gets closer.
Remember the She-Hawks beat us last year. They have been to more playoffs than we have been lately. We can say that they have been playing in a division with Arizona, San Fran and St. Louis but we have been playing in a division with Detroit, Minnesota and Green Bay, not much better.
Most SeaChicken fans here are actually pretty cool. I have gotten along with them much better than fans from any of the other areas that I was stationed at. Dallas Fans were the worst, Denver fans a little better, most of the east coast folks didn't know who to cheer for (this was before the Patriots became good, now everyone is a Pats fan up there).

Good to know. I have a business meeting to attend in Seattle in November...and it just so happens to be a Bears-Packers weekend!! No way I'm missing one of those games! Keep us posted on any info that comes available!
ogbearsfan:Is there any place in the downton area that I can watch the game? I will be at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel at 515 Madison St. I won' t have a car so I need to take public transportation.
Depending on the weekend (I work every other weekend) I can alway pick you up and run you up there. The U district is only a few miles north of downtown so it would probably be about 5-10 minutes out of my way. I drive up I5 to get to the bar anyway.
Sorry for bumping an old thread but I am a Seattle resident wondering the same...
Is Goldie's in Wallingford still the place? I see Bears/Cubs fans all over this city but I rarely see them at sports bars on game day.
Thanks...
Seems to still be the place. We get about 15-20 Bear Fans there a week for the games. I am less frequent (won't be there again this weekend, son has a baseball game) but I make it up when I can.
Lots of fun. The bar is definately 'old school', nothing like a modern sports bar but they have a great selection of microbrews and the fans there are always up for a good game.
What a game, that was about the loudest that bar had been. Of course we had to drown out that one Minnesota Fan.
Da24Bears:Any good places within walking distance of the Sheraton hotel (1400 6th Ave)?
