It will suck if he doesn't get back by the end of the year, because with the ankle/foot issue it is still questionable. But Peavy/Beuhrle/Floyd and Danks is a hell of a top 4 for the next 3 years.

They need to get something, they are getting their butts handed to them, and I don't see anything changing anytime soon!! right now they are getting beat down 20-1 by minn it is rediculous!!!!

though he'd be a huge help to the rotation since Contreras is in the minors and pretty much everyone else besides Buehrle sucks right now.

And if today is any indication, the Sox are also overdue for a Colon cleansing.

I think peavy is awesome ! he has great control on the ball and often reminds me of a cubs blast from the past..scott sanderson

It would rock. They were talking it up pretty good on the morning sports shows. His salary is scary, but I don't have to pay it. However, we hear that he wants to go to the Flubs or Brewers. If the Sox don't get him I hope the Brewers do.

I am born and raised padres fan, and my team sucks, i am stoked they are dealing Jake(I want them to deal everyone but Adrian Gonzalez, but thats besides the point) and i feel the return for the Pads is pretty good, not great, but worthwhile on my teams end

so opinions from you sox fans? stoked? dont care?
