Well it wasn't very easy mentally for Tillman last year. Remember his daughter? This year he should and most likely will do better.

Overrated: CB Charles Tillman. He is their top corner but struggled last season. He's also coming off shoulder surgery.

First off, I believe the writer got the order of his points wrong. Tillman struggled some last season BECAUSE of his shoulder injury.

Secondly, when Peanut is healthy, he is a BEAST!

I do. however, agree with his assesment of Favre being over-rated.

Tillman in my opinion is the most under rated , under appreciated player in the entire NFL ! I believe he is right up there with Champ Bailey . It figures a story about fantasy football !

To my mind Tillman is far from over-rated. Cornerbacks who can play cover-2 properly are rare, compared to those who are just man coverage guys. He is a huge player for us, which is evident when he is not playing or is playing injured. If only we had more players like him because we really need at least 3 (ideally 4) very good cornerbacks on our roster to get through a season. These guys cant be heavy as they need good speed, but at the same time need to be tackling machines, so I would take more of him on the team in a heartbeat.

I agree Tillman is a warrior. does anyone remember in the vikings game at the metrodome last year. on Adrian Peterson's longest run of the game, Tillman ran him down impressively. Some redemption from those bad angles he took in 07.

Payne will be good the others I m worried about (Bullocks,Steltz) I remember Steltz getting ran over from Grant last year not good and Steltz a upgrade over Bullocks. Tillman underrated for sure Tillmans the man no doubt.

i read the whole list and this guy is a fool...he called boldin overrated because "he thinks that he is as good as fitzgerald"...and abrham from the falcons because "he think he is good"...and then he goes on to say players like javon walker and jake delhomme and vernon davis overrated...who overrates them ??

that whole list is a joke and that writer is too.everybody knows that guy is the complete worse writer in the game,i would'nt put much stock into this artical.

also tillman your classic cover 2 corner as well as vasher.by all experts in the league they will be nothing but safetys on other teams because CB have to run 4.3 to 4.4

how is Tillman overated, does he go to Pro Bowls, everyone always has a knock for our secondary, the guy put a pretty good year despite having a huge scare with his daughter and shoulder injuries, Kevin Payne was in the right spot at the right time with his picks, kinda like MIke Brown without the instincts.
