Lovie is not the blame. Here are the top five reasons we shouldnt fire Lovie.

1. Defense: Its not the plays called so much as it is our exicution is terrible. Our players arnt playing like they want to win. Losing Brian really made us lose our heads.

2. Assistant Coaches: Bob who? Ron who? How good could the young players be when Bob Babich is teaching them football. And Ron Turner? What is with some of these play calls. Forte is a power back, but when he runs to the outside, hes great. Ron isnt bad all the time, but lets go to the Packer game, who calls a slant with 2:00 in the 4th Quarter? Terrible.

3. Offensive Line: What is going on? Kruetz is the only one on that line looking great. Williams isnt bad, Beekman blows, Pace is underachiving, and well i got nothing against Roberto Garza. And where is Kevin Shaffer? That is the only problem Lovie has. He needs to give Shaf-dog a chance.

4. Jay Cutler: NOW LISTEN TO ME BEFORE YOU GET THE WRONG IDEA! Jay Cutler is doing fenominal in Chicago and hope he spends his entire career in Chicago and i was the first one to get his Authentic Jersey. The reason hes on the list is the face that hes a great QB that we traded for. He puts Lovie on the hot seat because of the high expectaions the Bears have now that Jay is here. And if you look at the top 3 reasons, there the reason Jay struggled. But they dont blame the top 3, it all goes on Lovie.

5. Do we want to repeat firing Mike Ditka?: Last time we fired a coach that took us to a Super Bowl, we sucked for an entire decade. Do we really want another iamanidiot like this guy?

I think my point is made.

Is the fact that Lovie has a contract that would force the Bears to pay him $11 million in a firing settlement the reason that nothing will be done about this mess for the next couple of years? If that is so then I hope the people of Chicago stop going to the games and let the owners know that the ticket buying fans have a say in this matter. And is Jerry Angelo bulletproof also? This team is slipping badly and if nothing changes it will become the future. Who evaluates talent? How can we have an offensive line that is so inept? Chris Williams, who picked him? Mark Columbo, who decided to let him go? And we have so much talent at receiver that we could not afford to keep Bernard Berrian??? Couldn't someone have sent Cedric Benson to the Betty Ford clinic to dry him out? My god even Bobby "the fumbler" Wade improved after we let him go. But we keep guys like Tillman and all of Lovies cronie friend coaches. Here in Texas we think Jerry Jones is a bumbling meddling foof of an owner but at least he can see when the tide is going the wrong way and take action even though it is usually wrong.

Singletary the Warrior vs Lovie the Wimp

I really wish we had made Singletary our coach. Sure he's rough around the edges but so was Ditka, Buddy Ryan and George Halas. Coach Cup Cake is not a good option for Chicago. Just one time I would like to see L, Smith come out and say "you know, we really stunk it up tonight and I want to apologize to the city of Chicago and all of the Bears fans" Singletary is old school Bears football just like Rivera when he was here. And I'm so sick of the Dungy comparison. We need someone like Ray Lewis (criminal background not withstanding) in the locker room and on the field. There is no passion with this team and it damn sure isn't coming from "Lovie" This is a six and ten team....maybe.

pimp slapped the defense. Tomorrow night we'll see how we respond. If we throw up our dress and play the lay down sally role like we did with the Bengals and Cards then this team is through. Hopefully the broadcast won't be cancelled like Fox did Sunday. I'm looking for fights and Davis to get popped. Maybe this is just what we need since nobody on this team wants call us out. Can't wait.

Defensive TDs Allowed - Record set in 1997

Well this year has been marked with 2 legitimate defensive debacles a 45-10 loss to the Bengals & the last week thumping by the Cardinals 41-21. So I went to look at how many TDs this Lovie led defense has given up so far in 8 games played its 23 ! The Bears record in a 16 game season is 50 in 1997 under Dave Wannstedt they went 4-12 ! The worst loss that year was 55-20 in Detroit. John Mangum at Free Safety was the leading tackler with 149. Eric Kramer was the QB he was sacked 25 times & Rick Mirer was the backup QB sacked 16 times. The 3rd QB was Steve Stenstrom sacked 2 times for a whopping 43. Some parallels to this years team are there.
Wanni coached in 1998 & this his last year was also 4-12. He was also hailed as a defensive guru just like Lovie.

Can the 2009 Defense break the 1997 defensive TDs allowed RECORD of 50 ? What do you guys think ?

Turner going to get someone killed

Turner is brain dead. Watching the Peckers/Vikings, one can appreciate what an innovative game plan is worth.
Our game plan is going to get Cutler, Wolf or Forte killed. Predictable and unproductive.

Lovie isn't much better. Good thing we were playing the Browns.

Should Mike Singletary should have been considered as the head coach?

This team needs a strong no nonsense leader. When we went to the Super Bowl Ron Rivera got that defense going not Lovie. The fact that there is even a discussion about a Harris/Lovie contriversy is rediculus. Ditka wouldn't have put up with this. Nor would Buddy Ryan or Singletary. It appears that maybe some of the guys on this quit on Lovie. Maybe I'm wrong and i hope I am but that Cincy game looked like there was something fundamentally wrong with the attitude and execution of this team. And no one is pissed. Especially Love. Just one time I would love to see Lovie tear off his headset and get into some of these guys faces. We need to turn this around and I mean right now, The Browns game should not be an indicater

Ok I am going to start by saying I am a bears fan for life. I am not a band wagon jumper I stayed Sunday night until the very last play hoping Wolfe would break the last run for a touch down. First off I would like to say sorry to Olin Kreutz for that iamanidiot in the front row that taunted him the whole game. I know I didn't pay my money to sit front row and taunt our own team. It is part of the game one team will win and one will lose if you can't deal with it go home and get drunk there. Now for the serious stuff. I seen a defense that is still lost without someone in the middle that can direct traffic and even more so without Tommie Harris in the middle. I asked myself what makes this team any different than a team like Denver? The only thing that came back to my mind was last week when Brian Dawkins got hurt and he limped out to the sidelines and cheered his team to victory. So I looked down at the sidelines to see if Brian Urlacher was helping Nick Roach with the defense or Tommie Harris giving Marcus Harrison tips but to my surprise they didn't even make the trip. Where is the leadership on this team? I saw a team devided right down the middle there was the offense on this side and the defense on the other and niether one was trying to fire the other one up. I have seen an offensive line that hasn't been able to open holes for Forte all year except one game and a defensive line that is not getting nearly enough rush to help our secondary. I also am starting to question if Ron Turner watches any game film. My first play of the game would of had Clark, Hester and Olsen in trips and threw a quick pass to Hester with Clark and Olsen leading the way. Get creative throw out some of the old crap and put in some bootlegs we have a mobile quarterback now. Which brings me to my next point . Cutler you are our quarterback and you are going to be great but just because you have the title of quaterback doesn't mean you have the throw the ball. That thirty yard run last week looked preety good to me. By the way also there were a ton of fans out there cheering their heads off would it have killed someone to take five minutes out of their busy night to sign an autogragh after or before the game or even just give a fan a high five. Or has this team became one of those that if an agent doesn't say it is ok we are not going to do anything kind of teams. I believe that if someone would have step up it would have made a fans night and in a couple years they wouldn't even remeber the score of that game but they would always remember the night Devin Hester, Greg Olsen , Jay Cutler, Olin Kreutz, Lance Briggs or any of you guys took the time to make their day. Wake up guys remember where you came from. At one time you guys were justs kids with dreams too. So to finish if you are a so called leader on this team stand up and act like one if you are not a leader on this team and you think we should be doing better than we are stand up and take charge. The reality is their is another bunch of kids with dreams that is going to come out of next years draft and a great bunch that came out of this years draft that would love to call themselves a starter for the CHICAGO BEARS.
