The Chicago Bears message board moderator will maintain the code of conduct and standards set forth by the Chicago Bears Football Club. Depending on the nature of the violation, the moderator at their sole discretion may issue public or private warnings, or suspend members’ forum access. The moderator will operate under the direction of the Web Content Manager.

We intend to provide the highest quality community experience for all of our members and following these guidelines is the best way to maintain a quality environment for all users. If you find that members break any of these rules, you are asked to suspend or ban violating user’s posting privileges. These rules are very basic and we hope that you read them fully. Thanks for your cooperation.

Temporary suspension will result from abuse of the following rules… Continued abuse following suspension will result in a permanent ban. permanent ban includes those ban dodging, if a member is banned and makes another name.

Any communication that is intended to harass or threaten a fellow member.

Material that contains vulgar, obscene or indecent language or images including excessive swearing.

Any communication that contains spam (multiple copies in one area or the same communication in multiple areas).

Material that defames, abuses or threatens others.

Statements that are bigoted, hateful or racially offensive

Victimization or retaliation of any kind against a member, or group of members via PM, forum posting, chat or any other methods will not be tolerated and result in immediate banning.

Personal attacks such as flaming, instigating “flame bait”, verbal abuse or mocking of members in forum posts are not tolerated.

No trolling. Posts intended solely to annoy and/or offend other posters by going against the clear nature of a board or topic are not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to: Provoking other users to respond with flames, Provoking fans of a particular team or group, Making misleading topic titles and asking obviously useless questions.

No spamming. Initiating threads or posts that contribute nothing to a forum, be it off topic or on topic. Examples include: empty bodies, bodies with few words that have no relation to the current thread or discussion and those posts that state they are spam, either to annoy, advertise or increase a member’s post count.

Any impersonation or use of a user from these forums, in any mode of communication, is strictly prohibited and will result in a suspension or banning.

Pornography in posts or links containing pornographic material is strictly prohibited and will be deleted resulting in suspension.

Material that advocates illegal activity or discusses illegal activities with the intent to commit them.

Unauthorized copyrighted material.

Advertising or any form of commercial solicitation.

Material that impedes or otherwise prohibits communication; disrupts the discussion including, with out limitation, using fan names in topical boards that are offensive to the topic, the team, the sport and/or its fans, and repeatedly posting off-topic messages in a topical message board.

Statements or postings that violate the above terms should be deleted from postings upon discovery. While the moderator may attempt to notify users if he/she moves or deletes a post, he/she is under no obligation to do so.

Multi screen names

We are finding more and more posters have multi screen names.

We realize some of these happened when the switchover happened and we could not keep up with the oking new names and posters signed up again and again trying to get authorized.

Some posters are taunting other posters by takeing some form of another posters name to incite.

Pm us and let us correct these situations and get you down to one name.

If we run the ip's and find the multi names under one ip then all names will be gone.....good posters only need 1 board ID.

Which brings the question...............Is the US Military & Government hypocritical? Or as long as we as citizens believe they killed one threat, it is ok........either way I see it as a problem............. kill 1 terrorist and 1 civilian, you create 10 more terrorists.

Traditionally, members of the nation's veterans service organizations render the hand-salute during the national anthem and at events involving the national flag while wearing their organization's official head-gear. The National Defense Authorization Act of 2008 contained an amendment to allow un-uniformed servicemembers, military retirees, and veterans to render a hand salute during the hoisting, lowering, or passing of the U.S. flag. A later amendment further authorized hand-salutes during the national anthem by veterans and out-of-uniform military personnel. This was included in the Defense Authorization Act of 2009, which Former President Bush signed on Oct. 14, 2008.

News to me. Now we can salute rather than just stand at attention, which often garners "funny" looks from those non-veterans around us wondering why we don't put our hand over our heart like "everyone else". Since it doesn't mention non-organizational hats I have to assume we don't remove them while saluting during the national anthem. Fortunately I never wear a hat so its a non-issue for me, but expect more "funny" looks if you do.

I'm just curious what bothers you about Companies making money. Does it bother you when Companies make profits and put that money back into growing the Business? Or, does it just bother you that executives make a lot of money?

I work for a large Company that employs nearly 100,000 people across the Country and I do not see it as "evil". Is that evil?

I'm just trying to understand the frame of mind some people have here. It seems we have a few people here that think the middle class should grow but believe the Companies that pay them are "evil".

Help me understand where you are coming from.

So I just watched this documentary on some of the current trends in porn and it was pretty disturbing chit. Fundamentally speaking I think porn objectifies women and therefore contributes to forming impersonal behavior towards them by men, so to me it doesn't seem healthy.

I'm curious what others views are though and why?

New insight to the health plan

I just heard on the radio from a liberal source, that the new hc plan will actually cut the deficit. How do you asked can a plan that costs a billion dollars and takes money away from medicare actually help to cut the deficit? Well guess how they are going to do it...we all get to start paying for it 4yrs before we receive any benefits. So for the next 4yrs we will have to pay for the gov't plan hc and our current health ins prems. How in gods green earth am I suppose to pay the 380 bucks of month that I pay now plus the gov't number of 576? We cannot do this...it will be impossible. I do not have an extra 600 bucks to throw at something period...I suppose I could claim bankruptcy and then I would have the money, but would I have a job? Could my employer keep people on with the higher burden as well. This craziness has got to stop.

Hannity caught doctoring footage of protests

If you haven't seen it, Jon Stewart makes some startling discoveries from Hannity's broadcast of the Bachman (puke) protests on health care. They blatantly doctored footage to make it look like more people were there. They can't even be honest about the number of people protesting. Pathetic.

Hannity will be addressing this on his "show" tonight, although we'll all be watching Da Bearz.

Can someone tell me why this is such a big deal?
