Starting with preseason notes:
-Forwards Bickell, Cullen, and Klinkhammer as well as Defensemen Boyle and Connelly sent to Rockford.
-Beach(F) and Lalonde(D) sent back to their respective junior teams.
-Burish is out for at least 6 months after tearing his ACL in Minnesota.

This is the Bears board, but how about that Blackhawk game!!!

They are going to release some commercials featuring Kane, Toews, Sharp, Seabrook and Campbell from the Hawks and Briggs, Cutler, Gould, Hester, and Olsen from the Bears.

The Hawks will not have home ice no matter who they play. If Anaheim wins tonight, we play Vancouver.

If the Sharks come back and win tonight and game 7 we go to San Jose.

Ok, I'm not sure where I can find the aforementioned resource, but I do have a few questions concerning the future of the Blackhawks. Word has it that they're trying to sign Martin Havlat to a long-term deal. If that's going to cost as much as I think it is, and if they're still on the hook for Brian Campbell's deal, how do you all see the 'Hawks allocating funds for core guys who should be signed for the future? My only concern is that they might have less to work with concerning Toews, Kane, Keith, Seabrook, and Sharp if they sign Havlat to a big deal. Granted, I'd love to see this entire group back as a unit for the future, but I'm just trying to comprehend how some of these deals might go down.

I don't think you can let guys like Toews or Keith go, but it seems hard to let Havlat walk after what he's done this year (career year + postseason clutchness). Any opinions/thoughts?

I live in Calgary, lol!!! Go Flames Go!!!!!! Flames in 6!!!

It's gonna be a good series. Hawks are good and dominated us in regular season and Habi was a cash cow till this year but is doing good now. Flames a little injured but getting healthy so watch out! Our size is gonna be a killer in the long run getting to young hawks!!! Wish you luck, but Flames in 6 maybe 7??? So Bear Down as Iggy and the Flames fly into town!!!!

The Hawks opened up tonight by falling to the NY Rangers 4-2 in the battle of 2 Original 6 teams.

Kane and Keith with the lone Hawk goals, Huet looked shaky in the net.
