Wow! What a game.. ..I was on the edge of my seat the whole third period. The Hawks can sure fly when they get going...MERCY!!
Havlat`s 1st goal was gritty!
Great goal by Barker ....way to follow up the blocked shot Cam....just a beautiful, sneaky shot!
Overtime....12 seconds!....Game over!

Game was kinda no one cared in the 2nd period but it picked up in the third when Eager scored, I think it pissed off Detroit, like they were entitled....gotta love it!!!

Beat Detroit 4-2. Buff with the penalty shot goal with 26 secs left in the third to give the Hawks the lead.

Goals by Hjalmarsson(first NHL goal), Eager, Byfuglien(PS), and Ladd(EN)

We are currently in 4th with 100 points and 2 games remaining.

Vancouver sits in third with 98 points and 1 game remaining.
Calgary sits in 5th, with 96 points and 2 games remaining.

All we need is 1 point in the next 2 games to guarantee 4th no matter what Vancouver and Calgary do(one will win the conference and be third, the other fights for 4th/5th)

If the Hawks lose both games in regulation:

Calgary and Vancouver both need to win their remaining games to put us in 5th.

Anyways, the Hawks need to step it up and show Detroit that they are not scared of them and can play toe to toe with them.

And Calgary lost tonight so we clinched 4th place and home ice advantage in the first round.

We will either play Calgary or Vancouver in round 1.
