The Hawks went a little further than I thought they would.....took the champs to three OT games .....pretty impressive! Im excited about next year.....this team is gonna score a lot of goals and I will definately make the trip down to see them next season

Agreed...Hawks have to sign Havlat and find another D man and maybe another good centerman....still don't like going into next season with Huet as the # 1 goalie.

Well we hung in there with Detroit, taking 3 games into OT. In the end their experience killed us feeding off our mistakes and making us pay.

Nothing to be ashamed off this year as no one gave us a chance in any of the series and we proved a lot of people wrong. A Trip to the conference finals as the youngest team in the NHL and after such a long drought is amazing.

Hawks never gave up though...they had a great season...here's hoping for a better one next year
