To keep a thread current there must be posting in it to keep it fresh...A post will go away if no responces are made to thread after about 60 days I believe(could be off by a few days-give or take)

so even if a thread needs a bump now and then to keep it current please do so

Hey guys, this was kind of a hot item mid season last season. And well I still enjoy the game and play it, well too much. Needless to say, my team is 84-2 over the last 5 seasons, but I am going to be starting up a new team next season and am looking for players. The team is actually going to be a themed based team, where the players you create need to be a NFL Bust. The team name is looking like it could be Mel's Misfits or Akili's Heel. It is a GREAT football simulation game and something to kill team until the new season.

hey - i heard about GLB from these forums so i thought i would pass along some info about a game i think is way better than GLB, pigskin empire. it's different than GLB. in PE, you're the coach. pick from college teams or pro teams (the bears are still open). build your team by designing plays, training players and scouting for next year. the college players then feed the pros so you can follow players' careers.

Football Player League

Alright there's a new player league opening up.

What do you do: You do point tasks such as creating forum sigs, do interviews, predict players of the game, etc. to earn points to upgrade your players' attributes. All players are created in Madden (we're going to be using 07 for the PC) and all games will be simmed live on the forums at the end of each week.

How it works: You go to the forums, sign up, and create your players. In a while you'll be able to start doing the point tasks and there will be an inaugural draft to create the teams (we'll start out with 4 or 6 teams depending on how many people we get to sign up). It's great fun and we're always looking for new people, especially Bears Fans!!!

GLB Crashes Again!

I am really getting sick of that site bogging down and crashing. It would be one thing if it truly were free. But the premise of the game encourages members to invest money to get a tactical advantage.

Now with all those members who have spent money to play, they deserve a reasonable product. It's the playoffs over there and you can't even log on to set and discuss your last minute strategy. It sucks! Rip Off!

If they don't get it resolved they should start giving refunds.
