Rex Grossman had a differant look in his eye, a maturity that we had not seen behind those eyes before. I just seen these stats in a copy of Fantasy Football Weekly that I just bought. Some of Grossmans numbers after he came back from his benching in 2007.
3 3/4 games played - 911 yrds, 3 td's and 1 int. Thats about 230 yds a game.
With games of 296 yrds 1 td and 0 ints against the world champion NY Giants, and 266 at Seattle. Granted you would of liked to seen more td passes, however the recievers were not exactly lights out either. Also I remember a sweet td pass to Olsen in the Denver game that was negated by a holding penalty against Fred Miller. Oh yeah, also with a almost non exsistant running game. I will look for him to build on this in the upcoming season.
With him playing the defenses that he has to play this year. Hes gonna light it up! Check it out.
Carolina-last year 17th v.s the pass.
Phillidelphia-last year 18th v.s. the pass.
Detroit-last year 31 v.s. the pass.
Atlanta-last year 23 v.s. the pass
Minnesota-last year 32 v.s. the pass
St. Louis-last year 21 v.s. the pass
New Orleans-last year 30 v.s the pass
Houston-last year 25 v.s. the pass
Thats 10 games against 8 teams that were in the bottom half of the league in 2008. He could potentialy light it up. Don't worry he will! Go Rex!
Da' Bears!!!
....hermmmm, umm - so you think Rex will do what?
Just curious mind you!
I think if Grossman has matured like we all hope except for a few who want him to fail regardless. If he has though I would expect to see great things for us if the O line gives him time and our wr's do decent. An with our RB's I am sure we should be good. An I am sure our defence wants to show others that last year was simply a off year cause of injuries and such.
Im saying Rex is going to light it up! Yep, Yep. Da' Bears!!!
