    Official 2008 White Sox thread

It's almost time for the season to start. The Sox have some serious questions this year. It could work out or it could go south.

    The main questions right now:
    -4th and 5th starters
    -Crede
    -CF
    -2B

Fields got sent down today as well

Brian Anderson has to be in left or center.  This HAS to be his year finally.   I'd love to see Ramirez at 2nd except Uribe is having a good spring.

Has anyone heard any news regarding Owens' injury? Call me crazy, but I'd still like to see him in Center and have Swish move to LF...Swish in CF kinda scares me.

As for Ramirez, I'm a little disappointed he's not at 2nd, too. IMO, he brings the same quality of D, but with more upside hitting-wise—I grow weary of Uribe's uppercut swings.

The Indians will spoil the Sox season opener...

Re: Official 2008 White Sox thread

There have been 3 questionable calls on the Sox this game.

The one with AJ is really too close to call so I don't have a problem.

Crede was definitely safe and slid under the tag and gets called out.

Cabrera gets called for interference despite touching the bag.

I was following the game on this great website:

    http://www.soxandthecity.net/site/

Sounds like some brutal calls against us, but I was impressed that we didn't quit.

5 games in and once through the rotation and our best starters are Danks and Floydsurprise [*sur*]

We're in first place in the division!
