Oil prices are down again, been going down alot since last week. I spent 3.78 today, two weeks ago I spent 3.84.
Funny!
I had sort of a "nozzle rage" thing going on last night. I'd rather not talk about it, though.

I live in TX and the gas is usually cheaper down here, mainly due to transportation cost being cheaper and TX has a cheaper gas tax then many other states.
As of today, oil prices are down $23 in 10 days. People are driving less, government is reporting higher gas stockpiles due to it, economy is not good, so oil prices are falling.
Mr. Obvious:Its not opecs fault that their are some that refuse to let us draw on our own reserves. When we can drill, we drill in the most hurricane populated region of our country. Go figure.
We've had nearly half a century to come up with alternative energy sources. Who's been stopping those?
Gulf
Exxon
Sinclare
Too late to start drilling here. Even the White House said that if drilling starts here, 10 yrs at least before any results from it. Personally, I don't think that is the answer for the long term future.

Once the Olympics are over and the Chinese government lifts their subsidies of refined oil and gasoline there should be an even greater decline in demand for oil.
Bassman45:How much oil (gasoline, deisle, etc.) is used by the military in the "war on terror" in Iraq? I'll bet it's alot.
Ya, it would have been better that we do nothing.
