KITNA = NFL MVP.  My God his rating is almost perfect!

Without even opening this thread, just by the mere fact that you posted it, I knew the Bears would be at the bottom of the pile...kind of like your posts of late.

I guess it really helped Rogers when he threw a 15-20 yard completion, and the reciver ran 50 yards for a td, when a weak d went for the pick and allowed the receiver to prance into the endzone..and then leave the game...Hope for Roger's sake they are all that easy.

That's IHTB's MO....he waits for the stats to fall against the Bears, then he posts them acting as if he is just a neutral poster posting facts.  Truth is, he carefully waits for facts to fall his way before he posts...either that, or he simply won't post the facts.

And it is even worse when he doesn't even watch the games, pulls up some meaningless stats and tries to make some point.

Stats will never tell the whole story, but that is something that has ALWAYS escaped IHTB.

It also helped Favre last season that his team led the league in yards after the catch.

Well, then the Packers shouldn't lose a step.  Favre was just a mere cog in the Packer offense machine.  Simply unstoppable, no matter who is pulling the trigger.  Just too bad the Packers' preseason offense is ranked lower than even the lowly Bears...that could be a problem for you statisticians.

If the corners fall on their faces going for an interception everytime Rogers completes a pass allowing all of the receivers to prance in for td's, Rogers will have the greatest season in NFL history.  Otherwise, the Packers are in for a long year.

    Dinkpass,

You think Rodgers could make this pass and throw a 90 yarder like Brett or is that out of the question?

So are you saying that a-Rod is as good as Favre?  What is your point?  That the Packers are as good with A-Rod at the helm as they would be with Favre?

I'd prefer you answered my other question.

That video is just a sampling of a ton of plays the Packer offense ran that went for big yardage after a completion that any NFL quarterback can make.

I'm not saying A-Rod is as good as Favre.  I have no idea how good he is.  But if a quarterback can throw accurately, in that offense, they can be deadly.

LOL.  Favre made the system, not the other way around.  If a QB can throw accurately, he will be deadly in any system.  I suppose defenses will not change with A-Rod there compared to Favre, and that A-Rod can make all of the crazy passes Favre made over the years.  LMAO.

Oh, and to answer your question, A-rod, Grossman, Orton, and Cade McNown could probably complete that pass.  Again, so what?

How many did you watch?  And those "crazy" passes didn't always work out so well.

So what?  Favre was 4-12 before McCarthy came to town.  You think Favre just flipped a switched and got good all of a sudden?  I'm not saying Rodgers will have the same success, but I'm saying that offense is as much thank for the 13-3 season as Favre is.

This is insane.  Favre was a hall-of-famer before McCarthy even arrived on the scene.

As far as the 13-3 season and what contributed to it...mostly Favre.  That and so close wins, one of the easiest schedules in the NFL, and...as Packer fans love to say about the Bears good seasons LUCK.

And you have no idea what "that offense" will look like without Favre except from the preseason...and that's not very pretty.
