GLB quesion from a baffled player

I played my first season (4) with my first and only player and finished at level 10.  I recieved a contract offer and readily accepted it as my original cpu team had lost most of its starters and had a bunch of level 1's.  Excitedly I awaited the first game of the season with my new team.  Well I was a little shocked when we lost 199-0.  I think our total offense was -36 yards.  We had no first downs, all three and outs, or worse ( 5 fumbles and 6 int's.).  The other team, scored on EVERY possesion.

I thought the leagues where balanced, but I guess not.  Can I get off this team?

Someone please explain some of these things to me as the game is ruined for me as is,  I cannot see that I would ever log in again to watch that.crying [*cry*]

There really is no way to get off the team unless you can talk the owner into cutting you or trading you.

one of the biggest problems in GLB is gutted(lost all there players) teams in leagues they don't belong.  In GLB though, you need to also research the team before just signing.  Unless the owner will release you, your best bet is to make another character and check in on teams before signing, or wait it out with your guy now.

or find out what the owner wants to do with the team.  if he is rebuilding and has you in the plans then bear with it.  i dont know what league you are in so dont know if it will get better or not.
