Offense and Ron Turner??

What kind of play calling are we doing? Ron Turner's offense is so predictable. 3rd and 1 or 3rd and 2 instead of giving to a stud like Matt Forte we decide to call a QB bootleg with Kyle Orton. If we had a Michael Vick (before prison) or a Vince Young (University of Texas Vince Young) I might be able to understand. But the fact that we can't run time off the clock and we call a bootleg on 3rd and 1 makes me question what Ron Turner is thinking. Almost the exact same scenario last week against Carolina. 2nd and 2 (pass) 3rd and 2 (WR screen) and then on 4th and 2 we run it up the middle with Jason McKie?????????????????? Why not keeping pounding the ball with a 6-2 212 pound running back who can get those yards. This terrible predictable playcalling is awful and one of the reasons we cannot win games. We get great field position and then throw it away consistenly. Ron Turner should be fired TODAY!!!!!! Once we get the led we play to maintain as opposed to playing to win. Say what you want about Bill Belicheck but last year when the Pats would blow people out by 30 points and they were saying it was unsportsmanlike to run up the score...forget that they won those games and that's because they made thier lead so big that the other team couldn't mount a comeback (not to mention they had a great offense). Like I said before and years before that Ron Turner needs to FIRED ASAP and replaced by someone with guts and creativity in the Offensive Coordinator position. fireronturner.net.

A little harsh but mostly spot on. Why can we not run to the outside with Forte and let him find some room to run like the Vikes do w/ Peterson. We ran one pitch against the Bucs and he showed what he can do running it for 9 yds. If we could utilize him the way the Eagles do Westbrooke. Forte is easy rookie of the year and maybe a candidate for MVP if we can somehow win the division. Turner needs to mix it up more. Take what the defense gives and forget whatever the hell he's thinking most of the time.

Wrong Turner does not understand football. I wish his brother would hire him since Sleepy is not smart enough to get rid of him. Actually I wish Sleepy would get rid of himself as well. I think I will send my resume to Angelo.

If Turner gives the ball to McKie at the goal line one more time this year i'm going to scream. Can you guys tell me how Turner has a job in this league? Just one more thing, they wounder why the defense stays hurt, because they play 50 out of 60 minutes of the game. COME ON TURNER help the team out and just quit.
