    William Moore

Ok, I think we're all in agreement that the offensive side of the ball needs the most work, but if the cards don't fall that way come draft time, would you be mad if the Bears took William Moore (S-Mizzou)? Stay with me, safety is actually somewhat of a need(if Brown is either injured or isn't resigned), and he not only has the physical skills, but the mental makeup(as evidenced by his aggressive play) to be an all-pro safety. Imagine Moore next to Payne, and tell me that wouldn't be great. I'm still advocating a QB or another offensive need in the first, but Moore, at least to me, seems like a special player and warrants at least some thought come draft day.

he would be nice pick and is 6'2 so he has good size but i think a guard, tackle or reciever  will probably be our first round pick, or i think they will trade down or reach on an offensive player but who know what angelo does it could be a DE

Moore looks solid. I'd like having Moore/Payne (haha, more pain?) as a safety combo.

Payne keeps impressing me more each week. He's looking very solid all around at this point. He still gets dragged by bigger players, hopefully he starts working on that.

I don't know mel, but the way things have been going lately I may be falling into the OL-first bandwagon. Orton actually looking pretty good ? Receivers stepping up ? Runningback position solved ? Mike Brown staying healthy AND Payne showing up ? We may not need a first day QB/WR/S. It's heady stuff...

Conference of One: The USC Trojans were well represented on the first day of the 2008 NFL Draft, with seven overall selections in the first 2 rounds. In comparison, the twelve teams from the SEC combined had just eight players drafted on day 1.
