    Which Alabama players...

I'm a lifelong Alabama fan, and I was just wondering if there are any players from the Crimson Tide that you guys would like to see us draft next year.

To me, the two that stand out are Andre Smith (T) and Antoine Caldwell (C). Smith will go in the first, and Caldwell will probably go around the third. I've said in the past that we don't need to use a lot of early picks on the line, but when I think about getting these two, my UA homerism kicks in, and I start to think that it's a good idea. Smith may go in the top ten. If so, we wouldn't have a shot. If Caldwell is there in the third, I definitely think we should take him. He could move into one of the guard positions next year and eventually replace Olin at center.

Terrence Cody (NT) may be my favorite player on the team. He's 360lbs, can dunk a basketball (not really helpful on the football field, but it does she that he's athletic for a big guy) and is the main reason that Alabama has the nation's #1 run defense. But, we're in good shape at defensive tackle and I'm not so sure that he'll forego his senior season.

    Any thoughts?

I have made it a team rule that my players behave as gentlemen and dress as gentlemen. I wanted to end the popular conception that professional athletes were a bunch of roughnecks.- George S. Halas

I like Smith a lot. I'd love to see him line up at RT with Williams at LT for the next decade.

I don't mind John Parker Wilson as a backup type QB either. Not really flashy, but plays on a run-based team and he's started for a few years at a big name program.
